Alsterdorfer Sporthalle
Alsterdorfer Sporthalle (originally known as the Sporthalle Hamburg) is an indoor arena in Hamburg, Germany. The arena holds up to 7,000 people with 4,200 seats. It opened in 1968 and is located in the city's quarter of Winterhude. It hosts mainly indoor sporting events ( HSV Handball), pop & rock concerts and trade shows. The 1978 World Fencing Championships were held here. In July 2010, all matches of the FIBA Under-17 World Championship 2010 were played in this hall. In 11 May 2001, Irish vocal pop band Westlife held a concert for their Where Dreams Come True Tour supporting their album Coast to Coast. From 2012 until 2014 it also played host to the annual PDC World Cup of Darts The PDC World Cup of Darts is a team darts tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation, and was one of the three new tournaments introduced into the PDC calendar in 2010. Gaurav Bidhuri (born 16 May 1993) is an Indian boxer from Mandanpur Khadar village, New Delhi who competes in the 56 kg bantamweight division. He is ranked 11th in the World by International Boxing Association (amateur), AIBA in the year 2018. He won a bronze medal at the 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships – Bantamweight, 2017 World Boxing Championships held at Hamburg, Germany. Abass Baraou (born 28 October 1994) is a German professional boxer who has held the WBC International light-middleweight title since 2019. As an amateur he won a bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships and a gold at the 2017 European Championships, both while competing at welterweight. Early life Baraou was born on 28 October 1994 in Aalen, Germany. Shortly after his birth, his family returned to their homeland of Togo, where he spent the first nine years of his life before moving back to Germany and settling in Oberhausen. Roniel Iglesias Sotolongo (born 14 August 1988) is a Cuban boxer, best known for winning the junior world title at lightweight in 2006, a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and a gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
