Cristina Elisabet Fernández de Kirchner (; born 19 February 1953), often referred to by her initials CFK, is an Argentine lawyer and politician who has served as the Vice President of Argentina since 2019. She also served as the President of Argentina from 2007 to 2015 and the first lady during the tenure of her husband, Néstor Kirchner. José Manuel De La Sota
José Manuel de la Sota (28 November 1949 – 15 September 2018) was an Argentine politician who was a member of Justicialist Party. He was the governor of Córdoba Province from 1999 until 2007, and was reelected to the post for the 2011–15 term. Early life and career Born in Córdoba, de la Sota studied law at the National University of Córdoba and married Silvia Zanichelli, the daughter of former Governor , in 1972. He was designated Legislative Secretary to Córdoba Councilman Miguel Flores, a left-wing Peronist, in 1973, and Chief of Staff to Mayor José Domingo Coronel, a right-wing Peronist, in 1975; the March 1976 coup, however, cut his political career short. The return of democracy in 1983 led de la Sota to run in the Justicialist Party (Peronist) primaries for governor. Óscar Mario Jorge (born 14 July 1936) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician who was governor of La Pampa Province from 2007 to 2015. Born in Caleufú, La Pampa, Jorge enrolled at the National University of La Pampa, and earned a degree in Accountancy. He taught in the discipline from 1965 to 1986, and served as Comptroller of the Province from 1973 to 1976. Jorge was appointed as provincial Economy Minister by governor Rubén Marín in 1983, serving until 1989, and was named Rector of the National University of La Pampa. He was elected as Mayor of Santa Rosa, capital of La Pampa, in 1991, and served for three consecutive terms until 2003. He was then appointed as President of the Bank of La Pampa. Gerardo Morales (politician)
Gerardo Rubén Morales (born 18 July 1959) is an Argentine politician, Governor of Jujuy Province and Secretary General of the Radical Civic Union. He was a member of the Argentine Senate representing Jujuy Province, elected for the Front of Jujuy. He was a candidate for Vice President of Argentina on Roberto Lavagna's UNA ticket in the 2007 elections. Since 2015, he has been Governor of Jujuy, the first non- Peronist elected to the post since the restoration of democracy. Biography Morales was born in Jujuy Province. Eduardo Fellner
Eduardo Alfredo Fellner (born 16 June 1954) is an Argentine Peronist politician. He was President of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies and governor of Jujuy Province for two terms. Life and times Fellner was born in Río Tercero, Córdoba, and was raised in Villa Palpalá, Jujuy Province, where his father had found work in the Zapla steel mill, the country's oldest and largest. The young Fellner later relocated to Tucumán, where he earned a ''juris doctor'' at the Saint Thomas Aquinas University of the North. He returned to Jujuy in 1983, and was appointed Solicitor General of the province, later becoming District Attorney. Gildo Insfrán
Gildo Insfrán (born 19 January 1951) is an Argentine Justicialist Party (PJ) politician, who has been Governor of Formosa Province since 1995. Having been close to former President Carlos Menem, Insfrán later became close to President Néstor Kirchner, who defeated Menem in 2003 and was the leader of the Justicialist Party. Insfrán has been the target of accusations of corruption and embezzlement, and has been severely criticized for his long tenure. He arranged to have Formosa's provincial constitution revised to allow him to be reelected indefinitely, and has thus been described as having "stuck a knife into the provincial Constitution". Gustavo Bordet
Gustavo Bordet (born February 21, 1962) is an Argentine politician, the governor of Entre Ríos Province. He has previously served as mayor of Concordia, Entre Ríos. Bordet was born in Concordia, Entre Ríos in 1962. He worked as a legislator of the city council. Governor Jorge Busti appointed him minister of health of the province in 2005, when Graciela López de Degani resigned because of a scandal. He was elected mayor of Concordia in 2007, and reelected in 2011. He was elected governor of Entre Ríos in 2015. His vice minister, Adán Bahl, was minister of the outgoing governor Sergio Urribarri. Sergio Urribarri
Sergio Daniel Urribarri (born 7 October 1958) is an Argentine Justicialist Party (PJ) politician and former governor of Entre Ríos Province. Since 2020 he has been Argentina's ambassador to Israel. In April 2022 he resigned from office after being sentenced to eight years and a perpetual ban from public office for the crimes of negotiations incompatible with public service and embezzlement.
