The 2013 Türk Telecom İzmir Cup was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the sixth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2013 ATP Challenger Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Uladzimir Iharavich Ignatik ( be, Уладзімір Ігаравіч Ігнацік, Ihnatsik; russian: Владимир Игоревич Игнатик; born 14 July 1990 in Belarus) is a Belarusian professional tennis player. Professional career Junior career Igantik was ranked the No. 1 junior in the world in June 2007 after winning the boys' singles title at 2007 Roland Garros, and later finished runner-up at the 2007 Wimbledon Championships. Then as the top seed, Ignatik lost in the quarterfinals of the 2007 US Open. Early career Ignatik gained ATP points mainly by playing in Futures tournaments. Brydan Klein
Brydan Klein (born 31 December 1989) is an Australian-born British professional tennis player. As a junior, Klein won the 2007 Australian Open and reached a career-high top five in the ITF junior rankings. However, Klein has struggled to make the transition onto the men's professional circuit, failing to enter the top 150 or gain entry into any Grand Slam event without being given a Wild card. Louk Sorensen
Louk Sorensen (born 7 January 1985) is an Irish former professional tennis player. Sorensen was the first player representing Ireland to win a Grand Slam event main draw match in the Open Era. His father, Sean, was the first Irishman to play a Grand Slam main draw match in the Open Era, going out in the first round of Wimbledon. ( Matt Doyle reached the fourth round of the US Open in 1982 but played under the American flag then, only becoming an Irish citizen in 1985).
