The EuroLeague Women is an international basketball club competition for elite women's clubs throughout Europe. The 2007-2008 season features 24 competing teams from 13 different countries. Ros Casares Valencia
Ros Casares Godella was a professional women's basketball team based in Godella, Spain. It played in the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto between 1996 and 2012, when it resigned to play in EuroLeague and Spanish League. It continued playing in Primera División Femenina, third tier of Spanish women's basketball, until 2014 when the club was integrated in Valencia Basket as its women's section. History The club was founded in 1996 as Popular Bàsquet Godella. In 1998, the construction company Ros Casares acquired the team and in 2001 the club won its first league with this denomination. The following season defended the title, won its first national cup and made its debut in the EuroLeague. Arka Gdynia is a Polish professional women's basketball club. It was founded in 1946 in the city of Gdańsk as Spójnia Gdańsk. In 1992 the club moved from Gdańsk to Gdynia and changed the name to Bałtyk Gdynia. Then it changed its name several times. From 2001 till 2010 the name of the club was Lotos Gdynia after its titular sponsor Grupa Lotos S.A. Since 2014 the name was Basket 90 Gdynia and from 2018 the club is called Arka Gdynia. Sopron Basket is a Hungarian women's basketball club from Sopron. Founded in 1921 as the women's section of Soproni VSE, it has played in the Hungarian National Championship since 1986. It plays its home games in the Aréna Sopron. Sopron won its first national championship in 1993, making its debut in the Euroleague the following season. Settled in the top positions, the team played in subsequent years the Ronchetti Cup, which it won in 1998 beating ASPTT Aix-en-Provence. As of 2011 Sopron remains the only Hungarian women's basketball team that has won an international competition since the fall of communism.
