1993 Tippeligaen
The 1993 Tippeligaen was the 49th completed season of top division football in Norway. Each team played 22 games with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Number eleven and twelve are relegated. The winners of the two groups of the first division were promoted, as well as the winner of a series of play-off matches between the two second placed teams in the two groups of the first division and number ten in the Tippeligaen. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. Fredrikstad FK
Fredrikstad Fotballklubb (also known as Fredrikstad or FFK) is a Norwegian association football, football club from the town of Fredrikstad. With nine league championships and eleven Norwegian Football Cup, Norwegian Cup wins, FFK is one of the most successful clubs in Norwegian football. The club was founded in 1903. After suffering relegation from the then 1st division in 1984 1. divisjon, 1984, Fredrikstad spent 18 years outside the top flight, before returning to the top division in 2003 after two successive promotions. Fredrikstad stadion was FFK's home ground between 1914 and 2006. Pors Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Porsgrunn, currently playing in the 3. divisjon. Pors plays in blue jerseys, and their home ground is Pors Stadion. Notable former players include Jan Halvor Halvorsen and Erik Pedersen. Ski Idrettslag is a Norwegian alliance sports club from Ski, Akershus. It has sections for association football, track and field, team handball, floorball, ice hockey, tennis and gymnastics. Skeid Fotball
Skeid is a Norwegian football club from Oslo that currently plays in 1. divisjon ( OBOS-ligaen), the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Its current home field is Nordre Åsen, after the club stopped playing at Bislett after the 2012 season. In past decades it has gained a reputation as a talent factory for the larger clubs in Norwegian football, and it has produced several players for the national team such as Daniel Braaten, Daniel Fredheim Holm, Omar Elabdellaoui and Mohammed Abdellaoue. Nardo FK
Nardo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Trondheim. The men's team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, having been relegated from the 2. divisjon in 2021. The club played on the second tier from 1993 to 1996. History The club was formed on 14 January 1971 by a group of former Nidelv IL members. The club played its first season in the 6. divisjon (seventh tier) in 1972, and won promotion the next year. After two decades at amateur level, the club earned some success under coach Roar Stokke, and was promoted from the fourth tier to the second tier, where they were fighting for promotion to Tippeligaen, and achieved a fourth place in the 1993 1. divisjon. Stokke resigned from his position in September 1995 after disagreements with the board of directors. FK Mjølner is a Norwegian football club from Narvik. It currently plays in the 3. divisjon, after having been relegated from the 2. divisjon in 2019. The club played at the top tier in 1972 and 1989. History It is named after Mjöllnir in Norse mythology. It was formed in 1932 when ''Støa Mjølner'' (until 1926: ''FK Steady 1919 Mjølner'') and ''King Mjølner'' (until 1921: ''FK Freidig 1918 Mjølner'') merged.
