Al-Rayyan Sports Club () is a Qatari multi-sports club fielding teams in a number of sports such as football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, table tennis, and swimming. Luzhniki Disaster
The Luzhniki disaster was a deadly human crush that took place at the Grand Sports Arena of the Central Lenin Stadium (russian: Большая спортивная арена Центрального стадиона им. В. И. Ленина, now known as Luzhniki Stadium) in Moscow during the 1982–83 UEFA Cup match between FC Spartak Moscow and HFC Haarlem on 20 October 1982. According to the official enquiry, 66 FC Spartak Moscow fans, mostly adolescents, died in the stampede, which made it Russia's worst sporting disaster. The number of fatalities in this crush was not officially revealed until seven years later, in 1989. Until then, this figure varied in press reports from 3 to 340 fatalities. Martin Haar
Martin Haar (born 2 May 1952) is a Dutch former football defender, who is the current serving as assistant coach at AZ Alkmaar. Haar was born in Zwolle, Overijssel. He played for Go Ahead Eagles (1971–1977), HFC Haarlem (1977–1983), AZ '67 (1983–1986), HFC Haarlem (1986–1988), Sparta Rotterdam (1988–1989) and FC Wageningen (1989). He was a member of the famous Haarlem team, that competed in the UEFA Cup in the 1982–83 season, for the first time in the club's history. Gerrie Kleton
Gerrie Kleton (15 September 1953 – 8 January 2006) was a Dutch professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, HFC Haarlem, RKC Waalwijk and Cercle Brugge. He was a member of the Haarlem team, that competed in the UEFA Cup A cup is an open-top used to hold hot or cold liquids for pouring or drinking; while mainly used for drinking, it also can be used to store solids for pouring (e.g., sugar, flour, grains, salt).
