Provincial City (Taiwan)
An autonomous municipality or city, previously provincial city, is a ''de jure'' second-level administrative division unit in the Republic of China (Taiwan). The provincial cities were formerly under the jurisdiction of provinces, but the provinces were streamlined and effectively downsized to non-self-governing bodies in 1998, in 2018 all provincial governmental organs were formally abolished. Pan Wei-lun (; born 5 March 1982 in Pingtung County, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese People, Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher for the Uni-President Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). Career After brief amateur career in the Taiwan Cooperative Bank baseball team he was drafted by the Uni-President Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in early 2003 and remains with this team to date. He has been considered an ace for the Lions and has also been a key member of the Chinese Taipei national baseball team since 2002. He held the CPBL record of pitcher with the longest winning streak by scoring 21 victories between March 1, 2007 and June 18, 2008. Pan Li-chun
Pan Li-chun (; born 26 February 1982 in Kaohsiung) is a Taiwanese table tennis player. As of July 2012, Pan is ranked no. 168 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Pan is a member of the table tennis team for Taiwan Cooperative Bank, and is coached and trained by Hsu Long-Chien. Pan is also right-handed, and uses the shakehand grip. Pan represented the Chinese Taipei at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in the women's singles. Tank (Taiwanese Singer)
Lü Jianzhong 呂建中 (born 6 February 1982), better known by his stage name Tank, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter. He is currently signed to HIM International Music. His debut album, ''Fighting'' (; ''Fighting, The Law of Surviving'') was released on 23 February 2006. His latest album, ''The 3rd Round'', was released on 31 May 2009. Biography Lü was born in Taitung, Taiwan. He is a native Taiwanese: his father is from the Ami people, while his mother is Puyuma. Tank married his girlfriend of two years, MerMer, on 28 September 2012. The wedding was originally planned for the end of 2011 but was postponed due to the unexpected arrival of their daughter, Hua Hua, who was born in May 2012. Lin Yueh-ping (; born 28 January 1982 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese baseball manager and former pitcher for the Uni-President Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). Lin is among the fastest Taiwanese pitchers of the CPBL. He consistently throws around 145 km/h (90 mph), and when needed can reach back for more and has been clocked as fast as 154 km/h (96 mph). He features a slider as his out pitch. At the end of 2006 season, he was diagnosed with a heart condition, and underwent surgery in May 2007. Ngayaw Ake Lin Chih-sheng (; born 1 January 1982; name at birth, birth name: Ngayaw Ake林智盛), also known as Ngayaw Ake in Amis language, is a Taiwanese people, Taiwanese Taiwanese indigenous peoples, indigenous baseball player for the Wei Chuan Dragons of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). Nanzih District, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (also spelled Nanzi; ) is a district located in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. It was the northernmost district of Kaohsiung City until Kaohsiung County was merged into the municipality in 2010. The Youchang Forest Park () is an urban park in Nanzih District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. History The park used to be a graveyard. On 30 December 1982, it was turned into the Youchang Forest Park.
