1956–57 In Belgian Football
The 1956–57 season was the 54th season of competitive football in Belgium. R Antwerp FC won their 4th Division I title. RSC Anderlechtois also entered the 1956–57 European Champion Clubs' Cup as Belgian title holder. Association Football

Henri 'Rik' François Louis Coppens (29 April 1930 – 5 February 2015) was a Belgian association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), striker. He played 389 games and scored 261 goals for Beerschot AC. Coppens won the first Belgian Golden Shoe in 1954. Victor Mees
Victor Mees (26 January 1927 – 11 November 2012), nicknamed Vic or Vicky, was a Belgian footballer who played all of his career at Royal Antwerp. Club career Mees was born in Antwerp. He made his first team debut at the age of 17, just after World War II. Mees, who had become a leader of the team, won its first Championship title in 1957, having won the Belgian Cup two years before. International career Known as a gentleman footballer, Mees was at the time a pillar of the national team. In total, Mees made 68 appearances and he played in the 1954 World Cup. Richard Orlans
Richard Jérome Orlans (born 6 October 1931) is a former Belgian footballer who played as a midfielder. He played in the Belgian First Division for the teams of K.A.A. Gent, Cercle Brugge and R.S.C. Anderlecht and played 21 games for the national team of Belgium. After his playing career, he was also a coach. He is also the father of football manager Patrick Orlans. Career First Division Born in Ghent, Orlans joined K.A.A. Gent in 1946 at the age of 15 and played in all of the youth teams. In 1949 he debuted as a midfielder in the first team of the team. He acquired a place in the permanent team in the 1950–51 season and finished in second position in the league in 1955 and three times in third position (1954, 1957 and 1958). Olympic Stadium (Amsterdam)
The Olympic Stadium (Dutch: ''Olympisch Stadion'', ) is a sporting venue which was used as the main stadium for the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. The venue is currently used mostly for athletics, other sports events and concerts. When completed, the stadium had a capacity of 31,600. Following the completion of the rival De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam in 1937, the Amsterdam authorities increased the capacity of the Olympic Stadium to 64,000 by adding a second ring to the stadium. In 1987 the stadium was listed as a national monument. AFC Ajax used the Olympic Stadium for international games until 1996, when the Amsterdam Arena, since 2018 renamed Johan Cruyff Arena, was completed.
