C.P.D. Gwalchmai is a football club from Gwalchmai in Wales. They play in the and with their home games at Maes Meurig. The club is one of Anglesey's most successful football teams, winning nine top division Anglesey League title, one Gwynedd League title and major success in different cup competitions reaching 49 finals, winning 26, including North Wales Coast Football Association Junior Cup on three occasions. History The club was formed in 1946 and has spent most of its existence playing in the now defunct Anglesey League, where they were the joint most successful team in the league with nine titles. Gwalchmai, Anglesey
Gwalchmai () is a village on Anglesey in north Wales, within the Trewalchmai community. The community's population in the 2011 census was 1009. The village is considered to be named after the 12th-century court poet Gwalchmai ap Meilyr, whose own name may be derived from that of the Welsh hero known as Gwalchmei ap Gwyar, who became the Gawain of later Arthurian legend. Location Gwalchmai is a village along the A5 adjacent to the A55, less than a mile from the Anglesey Show Ground and less than two miles from RAF Mona. Amenities and history There are the remains of a windmill in the southern part of the village and a communications tower just north of the village. Gwynedd League Clubs

The North Wales Coast FA Intermediate Cup is a football knockout tournament involving teams from in North Wales who play in leagues administered and associated with the North Wales Coast Football Association. Previous winners The competition was originally known as the ''North Wales Coast Amateur Cup'' ran from 1894 to 1975 with the exception of when the competition was suspended during the war years. For the 1975–76 season it was renamed the ''North Wales Coast FA Intermediate Cup'' running until the end of the 1980–81 season. The competition did not run from 1981 until the 2008–09 season when it was reintroduced. It ran again until the 2015–16 season, after which it was suspended again. 2019 Inter Games Football Tournament
The 2019 Inter Games Football Tournament was an association football tournament which was held between 15 and 22 June 2019 in Anglesey, Wales. It was organised due to the hosts of the 2019 Island Games, Gibraltar being unable to run a tournament due to lack of pitches. As football is one of the most popular sports at the games it was decided to hold the matches elsewhere, albeit with the results not officially part of the Island Games history. It was announced on 1 May 2018 that the Welsh island had been chosen as the preferred venue to host. In August of that year 12 clubs put forward their names to hold matches and the draw for both the men's and women's competitions were made on 19 November by Wayne Hennessey and Osian Roberts.
