C.L.Y.D.E.
''C.L.Y.D.E.'' is an animated television series, made by MoonScoop Group (as France Animation), produced by CINAR Animation and created by CINAR's co founder and former president Ronald A. Weinberg and veteran Canadian-French film producer Jean Cazes. It centres around a super-computer from another planet, C.L.Y.D.E. (Computer Linked Yield Driven Entity), which is put on trial for developing a virus called a "sense of humour". He is punished by being launched into space, where he enters Earth's atmosphere and crash-lands. His central core is found, intact, by two kids, Matt and Sam. They install C.L.Y.D.E. into an old jukebox, which makes him able to speak to them, and handle objects through telekinesis. Many of Matt, Sam, and C.L.Y.D.E.'s adventures concern secret agents trying to find C.L.Y.D.E., or defeating computer viruses, hackers, or invading aliens. Cookie Jar Toons
Cookie Jar Toons (also known as This Is for Kids) was a daily children's programming block on the This TV digital broadcast network when that network was partially owned by the former Weigel Broadcasting (7 years later, the network was acquired by Allen Media Group). The block was programmed by Canada-based DHX Media (formerly Cookie Jar Entertainment and today as WildBrain). The block used the name ''Cookie Jar Toons'' for E/I programs, and the name ''This Is for Kids'' for non-E/I programs. Many of animated and live action shows where broadcast on the block were Cookie Jar archive programs from predecessors DIC and Cinar, though some (i.e.: ''Mona the Vampire'') had never been seen in the United States before; other programs (i.e.: ''Sonic Underground'') were previously seen on other American networks. Rick Jones (voice Actor)
Richard Jones (born c. 1957) is a Canadian voice actor, voice director, writer and content developer. Since 1982, he has worked with Fox, Disney, Universal, Hanna-Barbera, Alphanim, Cinar and Nelvana. Jones has been nominated for a Gemini Award twice in 1988 and 2003. Bio During his early years, Rick obtained an undergraduate degree in biology. Whilst he was working on a geology thesis, a friend from Carleton University working at the school radio station asked him to do a voice for an ad, which helped start Rick's career. Judi Richards
Judi Richards (born 12 August 1949) is a Canadian pop singer and songwriter. Born in Toronto, Richards is the daughter of musician Bill Richards and actress Billie Mae Richards (née Dinsmore). She has sung numerous jingles for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Montreal and has performed in concert and on record with a variety of notable Quebec-based pop artists. In the late 1970s she was a member of the bilingual vocal trio Toulouse with Liette Lomez and Laurie Zimmerman, and the ensemble notably recorded a number of Richards's songs. The group became well known for "It Always Happens This Way"/"C'est toujours à recommencer" and won a total of four Félix Awards. She has sung backup on numerous other artists' records. Walter Massey (actor)
Walter Edward Hart Massey (August 19, 1928 – August 4, 2014) was a Canadian actor, best known for voicing Principal Herbert Haney on the animated series ''Arthur'' and The Doctor in the English version of ''The Mysterious Cities of Gold''. He was based in Montreal, Quebec. He played Dr. Donald Stewart on the 1990s version of '' Lassie'', and had numerous roles on stage, and in films and television, for more than six decades. Massey was the cousin of actor Raymond Massey and was a founding member of Canadian Actors' Equity. Walter Massey's father, Denton, was an engineer and Ontario politician. The MoonScoop Group was a French animation and production company that created and published animated television series. Its corporate headquarters were located in Paris, France, along with offices in the United Kingdom and the United States. It was established in 2003.
