C.F. Os Belenenses (futsal)
Clube Futebol Os Belenenses is an amateur futsal team based in Lisbon, Portugal. It plays in Liga Placard . Their nickname comes from the fact that in their first two seasons they won two trophies (Campeonato Nacional da 3ª Divisão and Campeonato Nacional da 2ª Divisão). In 2009-10 they win their most important title, the Taça de Portugal de Futsal for the first time, beating Benfica in the final. Benfica scored first, but Diego Sol equalized in the second half, Marcelinho in the final seconds of Extra time scored the decisive goal. Notable players included Marcão, Diego Sol, Pedro Cary, Paulinho and Marcelinho. More recently, Belenenes encountered some financial problems, including a request for insolvency after unpaid salaries to former futsal player Formiga and a pledge of the clubs trophies for unpaid construction work done to Estádio do Restelo. Marcos Pacheco Affini (born 18 June 1984), known as Marcão, is a Brazilian futsal player who play as a goalkeeper for CF Belenenses on loan from Sporting CP. Career Born in São Paulo, Marcão started his career in the amateur team, EC Ferraz, in the city of Ferraz de Vasconcelos. On 8 August 2007, he moved to Portugal to join C.F. Os Belenenses, arriving at the same time as Diego Sol. At the ''Belém-side'', he, and others like Pedro Cary, Paulinho and Marcelinho, helped the club reach two playoffs finals against Benfica, losing both, plus two Portuguese Cup finals, winning one, and losing another. In January 2011, Marcão moved to the Qatar Futsal League, to play for Al Rayyan, staying just eight months, but winning the league title with the Qatari club. Futsal Clubs In Portugal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. The surface, ball and rules favour ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity and technique. João Miguel Vieira Freitas Silva Marques (born 13 February 2002) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for Primeira Liga club Estoril. Estádio Do Restelo
The Estádio do Restelo is a multi-purpose stadium in Lisbon, Portugal. The stadium has a capacity of 19,856 people and was built in 1956, in an old stone quarry. It is situated behind the Jerónimos Monastery in the Lisbon parish of Belém. It is currently used mostly for football matches, by first division club Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses, but also stages musical performances.
