C.D. FAS
Club Deportivo Futbolistas Asociados Santanecos, commonly known as FAS (pronounced "fas"), is a professional Salvadoran football club based in Santa Ana. It competes in Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador, the country's top professional league. The team's nickname is Los Tigres (The Tigers). FAS was founded on 16 February 1947. The team plays its home games at the Estadio Óscar Quiteño, the third largest stadium in El Salvador. The club has a long-standing rivalry with Águila and Alianza F.C., and are the only three clubs to never have been relegated to the Second Division. Matches between them are known as Clásicos. FAS also plays a local derby against Isidro Metapán. FAS is the most successful club in El Salvador football with the highest fan base. Gilberto Alfredo Murgas Fajardo (born January 22, 1981 in El Refugio, El Salvador) is a retired Salvadoran football player. Club career Nicknamed ''Gárgamel'', he started his career as a midfielder for FAS, making his debut against Belizean side Acros Verdes in March 1999. He left FAS for Chalatenango in 2007 only to move on to play for Águila a year later. After returning to FAS in July 2010 he decided to retire in 2011 and move to Houston, where he started a construction company. Eliseo Antonio Quintanilla Ortíz (born 5 February 1983) is a former Salvadoran professional footballer. Club career Nicknamed ''Cheyo'', Quintanilla started his professional career at Salvadorian giants FAS, making his professional debut in 1999 at age 16. Adet (Amharic: አዴት) ,also known as Adet Medhanialem is a town in northwestern Ethiopia. Hugo Ernesto Pérez Granados (born November 8, 1963) is a former professional footballer and current manager of the El Salvador national team. Born in El Salvador, he represented the United States national team. During his fourteen-year career, he played professionally in the United States, France, Sweden, Saudi Arabia and his native El Salvador. Although born in El Salvador, he gained his U.S. citizenship as a youth and earned 73 caps, scoring sixteen goals, with the U.S. national team between 1984 and 1994. Jorge Alberto González Barillas (born 13 March 1958), popularly known as ''El Mágico'' (The Magical One), is a Salvadoran former footballer who played mainly as a forward. At the club level, he played mainly for FAS and Spain's Cádiz in a 24-year senior career.
