Büyü
''Büyü'' (''The Spell'') is a 2004 Turkish horror film directed by Orhan Oğuz. Though the film was a surprise box office success, it received very poor reviews. Plot A group of archeologists go into a ghost village that is cursed by its past. They ignore the warnings of the natives, but soon after they arrive, terror strikes. Weird bugs come out of flames to bite Cemil, Ayadan is raped by an invisible force (she awakes from it like a dream), babies are heard crying in the air, and more unnerving incidents occur. After the unexpected murder by decapitation of Cemil, the group finally bands together to try to take on the evil forces lurking around every corner. Melahat Özgü Namal (born 28 December 1978) is a Turkish actress. Biography Her maternal family are Turkish immigrants from Thessaloniki, Ottoman Empire (now in Greece). Her paternal family is Turkish immigrant from Macedonia. Özgü Amel Namal started acting at the Masal Gerçek Theatre when she was a child. She graduated from the theater department of the State Conservatory of Istanbul University. Okan Yalabık (born 13 December 1978) is a Turkish actor. He graduated theater at Istanbul University State Conservatory and master of Film and Drama in Kadir Has University. He has appeared in more than twenty films since 2001. Life and career Yalabık was born in 1978 in Istanbul as the second child of his family who originate from Balıkesir.
