Bùi Thanh Liêm
Bùi Thanh Liêm (June 30, 1949 - September 26, 1981) was a Vietnamese cosmonaut. Born in Hanoi, Vietnam, he was a pilot for the Vietnam People's Air Force who rose to the rank of captain and flew many combat missions during the Vietnam War. In 1978, Liêm graduated from Gagarin Military Air Academy at Monino, Moscow Oblast, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, Soviet Union. Liêm was selected as backup of Phạm Tuân, who was the first Vietnamese and the first Asian in space on the Soyuz 37 mission. Bùi Tấn Trường (born 19 February 1986) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for V.League 1 club Hà Nội. Trained at Đồng Tháp since a 13-year-old boy, he became first goalkeeper of the club in 2007. In the same year, he scored a goal in the 2-2 draw with Đồng Tâm Long An F.C. in V-League 2007. In 2008, Bùi Tấn Trường was a member of Vietnam U22 squad which won Merdeka Cup after beating hosts Malaysia in the final. He also stopped a penalty shoot of Malaysia in that game. Bùi Tín
Bùi Tín (29 December 1927 – 11 August 2018) was a Vietnamese dissident and People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) colonel, serving in the PAVN general staff. After the war, he became disillusioned by corruption and the continuing isolation of the newly unified Vietnam and decided to leave Vietnam and live in exile in Paris to express his growing dissatisfaction with the Communist Party of Vietnam and their political system. Early life and education Bùi Tín was born near Hanoi on 29 December 1927, and was educated in Huế. Career During the August Revolution in 1945, Bùi Tín became an active supporter to politically pressure the government of France to cede Vietnam its independence. Bùi Thị Nhung (born 21 January 1983 in Hải Phòng) is a Vietnamese high jumper. Her personal best jump is 1.94 metres, achieved in June 2005 in Bangkok. Bui Tuong Phong
Bui Tuong Phong (December 14, 1942 – July 1975) was a Vietnamese-born computer graphics researcher and pioneer. He invented the widely used Phong shading algorithm and Phong reflection model. Life Phong was born in Hanoi, then French Indochina. After attending the Lycée Albert Sarraut there, he moved with his family to Saigon in 1954, where he attended the Lycée Jean Jacques Rousseau. He went to France in 1964 and was admitted to the Grenoble Institute of Technology. He received his from Grenoble in 1966 and his ''Diplôme d'Ingénieur'' from the ENSEEIHT, Toulouse, in 1968. Bùi Thị Xuân
Bùi Thị Xuân ( vi-hantu, , d. 1802) was a Vietnamese female general during the Tây Sơn's era. Biography General Bùi Thị Xuân was born in Bình Khê District (now Tây Sơn District), Bình Định Province. She is said to have learned martial arts as a child, and was reputedly a strong woman. Legend has it that she once rescued Trần Quang Diệu, who later became her husband, from a tiger.
