Bård Breivik
Bård Breivik (23 November 1948 – 10 January 2016) was a Norwegian sculptor and art instructor. Biography He was born in Bergen, Norway. He was the son of Thomas Breivik and Sissel Søyland. His father Thomas Breivik (1923-1999) was a notable painter, graphics artist and art instructor. Following his parents divorce in 1951, he was raised by his mother in Laksevåg. He was educated at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design (''Bergen Kunsthåndverkskole'' and ''Vestlandets Kunstakademi'') and St. Martin's School of Art in London. Breivik held a professorship at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm from 1982 to 1985 and worked actively as an artist throughout his life. Vestre Gravlund
Vestre Gravlund is a cemetery in the Frogner borough of Oslo, Norway. It is located next to the Borgen metro station. At , it is the largest cemetery in Norway. It was inaugurated in September 1902 and also contains a crematorium (''Vestre krematorium'') and chapel (''Gravkapellet''). The grave chapel was constructed in granite and clay stone and was designed by architect Alfred Christian Dahl (1857–1940). It was built in 1900 and consecrated in 1902. Kristian Blystad
Kristian Blystad (born 18 March 1946) is a Norwegian sculptor. Career He was born in Bergen. Among his works is the fountain sculpture ''Kronos'' at Majorstuen, Oslo. A granite sculpture of Wilhelm Frimann Koren Christie was erected in front of the Parliament of Norway in 1989. A statue of Christian Frederik was unveiled in front of the Parliament in May 2014. He also worked on the facade of the new Library of Alexandria. He is represented at the National Gallery of Norway and in other galleries in Oslo and Bergen. Hugo Wathne (25 September 1932 – 6 September 2017) was a Norwegian sculptor and art instructor. Biography Hugo Frank Wathne was born in Stavanger, Norway to Frank Ingolf Wathne and Birgit Rosenvold. His father was a painter and glass artist. Wathne was first a student of sculptor Magnus Vigrestad. He attended the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (''Statens Håndverks- og Kunstindustriskole'') in Oslo (1949–54) and the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts (''Statens Kunstakademi'') in Oslo under Per Palle Storm (1954–57) and Per Krohg (1957-58). Sogn Og Fjordane
Sogn og Fjordane (; English: "Sogn and Fjordane") was, up to 1 January 2020, a county in western Norway, when it was merged to become part of Vestland county. Bordering previous counties Møre og Romsdal, Oppland, Buskerud, and Hordaland, the county administration was in the village of Hermansverk in Leikanger municipality. The largest town in the county was Førde. Although Sogn og Fjordane has some industry, predominantly hydroelectricity and aluminium, it is predominantly an agricultural area. Gulen
is a municipality in the southwestern part of Vestland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sogn. The administrative center of the municipality is the village of Eivindvik. Other villages in Gulen include Brekke, Byrknes, Dalsøyra, Dingja, Instefjord, Mjømna, Rutledal, and Ytre Oppedal. The municipality of Gulen sits to the south of the Sognefjorden and it surrounds the Gulafjorden, which is considered to be the place where Norway's west-coastal Vikings met for the Gulating, a governing body.
