Butler is an outer suburb of Perth, Western Australia, 41 kilometres north of Perth's central business district. It is part of the City of Wanneroo local government area. It forms the majority of the Brighton Estate, a large commercial and residential development by Satterley. Geography Butler is bordered to the west by Jindalee and Quinns Rocks (Marmion Avenue), to the south by Merriwa and Ridgewood (Lukin Drive) and to the north by Alkimos (Butler Boulevard). The Joondalup railway line reserve separates Butler from the rural locality of Nowergup in the east. 2 kilometres west of Butler is the Indian Ocean. Butler is a Legislative Assembly electorate in the state of Western Australia. The district is named for the outer northern Perth suburb of Butler which falls within its borders. Geography Coming into effect after the 2013 election, the boundaries of Butler stretch from the coastal boundary of the City of Wanneroo to its northern and eastern limits, and comprised 546 km² of land otherwise bounded in the south by the Kinross east-west boundary fence, Burns Beach Road, Wanneroo Road, Flynn Drive, Old Yanchep Road and Neaves Road. Mitchell Freeway
The Mitchell Freeway is a freeway in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, linking central Perth with the city of Joondalup. It is the northern section of State Route 2, which continues south as Kwinana Freeway and Forrest Highway. Along its length are interchanges with several major roads, including the Graham Farmer Freeway and Reid Highway. The southern terminus of the Mitchell Freeway is at the Narrows Bridge, which crosses the Swan River, and the northern terminus is at Hester Avenue, Clarkson, a suburb within the City of Wanneroo. Currambine is a northern suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, 29 km north of Perth's central business district. Its local government area is the City of Joondalup. Connolly Drive is an arterial road in the outer northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. The road takes its name from the Perth suburb of Connolly, which lies just beyond the road's terminus. Route description Connolly Drive starts at Shenton Avenue in Currambine, west of Joondalup's central business district, and ends after a run at Benenden Avenue in the outer northern suburb of Butler. Yanchep
Yanchep is an outer coastal suburb of Perth, Western Australia, north of the Perth CBD. It is a part of the City of Wanneroo local government area. Originally a small crayfishing settlement, it was developed by entrepreneur Alan Bond in the 1970s for the 1977 America's Cup. The area covers the urban centre of Yanchep as well as Yanchep National Park in its entirety.
