Ernesto Hernández Busto (born 1968 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban writer living in Barcelona (Spain). Biography Born in Havana, Hernández Busto began university studies in mathematics in the former Soviet Union and returned to Havana to study Literature at the Pedagogical Institute. He was a member of Paideia, an independent research group that in the late 1980s attempted a renewal of the Cuban cultural scene and culminated in becoming a dissident platform. In 1992 he emigrated to Mexico, where he published regularly in the magazine Vuelta, directed by Octavio Paz, as well as other Mexican literary reviews. On two occasions, 1996 and 1998, he won the translation scholarship from FONCA. He also formed part of the editorial board of the journal ''Poesía y poética'', and worked for four years on editing its collection under the sponsorship of the Universidad Iberoamericana. Javier Busto Sagrado (born 1949 in Hondarribia, Basque Country, Spain) is a Spanish choral music composer and conductor. Career Originally trained as a medical doctor, Busto taught himself music, but was initiated to choir direction by Erwin List. In 1995, he founded Kanta Cantemus Korua, a choir composed of women in their middle to late teens. In 1978 he founded the Eskifaia Choir in Hondarribia. Busto has presented his compositions at the Fourth World Symposium on Choral Music in Sydney, Australia in 1996, and was guest conductor of the ''Tokyo Cantat'' in 2000. His choirs have won first place awards in France, Italy, Austria, and Germany. Busto has served on the jury of composition and choral competitions in Spain, France, Italy and Japan. José Antonio del Busto Duthurburu (August 21, 1932 – December 25, 2006) was a Peruvian historian. Biography He completed his studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. After completing his studies he devoted himself to teaching and research and documentation on the history of the conquest and the Viceroyalty of Peru. At 25 he received his PhD in history, before he had studied Education with a major in History and Geography. Was secretary to Bishop Fidel Tubino, when he served as rector of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP ). Michael Busto (born June 20, 1986) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He most recently played for Ducs d'Angers of the French Ligue Magnus. Playing career Busto was born, in Burnaby, British Columbia. Busto played in the Western Hockey League with the Swift Current Broncos, Kootenay Ice, and Moose Jaw Warriors. On April 27, 2007, Busto signed with the New York Rangers to a three-year, entry-level contract. Busto was then assigned to Rangers affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL. Fado
Fado (; "destiny, fate") is a music genre that can be traced to the 1820s in Lisbon, Portugal, but probably has much earlier origins. Fado historian and scholar Rui Vieira Nery states that "the only reliable information on the history of fado was orally transmitted and goes back to the 1820s and 1830s at best. But even that information was frequently modified within the generational transmission process that made it reach us today."
