Bushy Creek
__NOTOC__ The Bushy Creek Trail is a shared use path for cycling, cyclists and pedestrians in the inner eastern suburb of Box Hill North, Victoria, Box Hill North in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. The trail has some short road sections including an unshared path along Springfield Road. Following the path The trail starts from the Koonung Creek Trail. Look for the signpost just east of the Koonung Creek Wetlands area and the spectacular red freeway bridge. The first part of the trail is gravel and follows the Bushy Creek channel to a playground near Belmore Road. Branch off here for the Gawler Chain Trail (see Connections). The Bushy Creek Trail continues to the left past the Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway. __NOTOC__ The Gawler Chain Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians in the inner eastern suburb of Mont Albert in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The trail has some short road sections and the western section is fairly rough. Following the Path The trail starts at the corner of Arnott and Costello Streets. This section consists of a concrete path following an easement. It crosses several quiet streets. The concrete section ends at Strabane Avenue. Head to the right up Strabane Avenue and turn left into Kerry Parade then right into Madang Avenue. At the end, head through the laneway between the houses to Union Road. Turn right and after 100m, turn left into the easement. This part is fairly rough, with only a walking track and some fairly steep, short sections. Box Hill To Ringwood Rail Trail
__NOTOC__ The Box Hill to Ringwood Rail Trail is a shared use path that runs alongside the Belgrave and Lilydale Lines in the east of Melbourne, Australia. The route serves a total of seven railway stations. The bike path is incomplete, as the section between Blackburn and Laburnum is yet to be constructed. Construction Construction on the bike path first began in Mitcham in 2013, done alongside the railway grade separation at Mitcham Road. The first section, from Walkers Road in Nunawading to Mitcham Station, was eventually completed in 2014. The Box Hill section of the project was split into two parts, the first commencing in late 2014 and the second in early 2018.
