Burna-Buriaš II, rendered in cuneiform as ''Bur-na-'' or ''Bur-ra-Bu-ri-ia-aš'' in royal inscriptions and letters, and meaning ''servant'' or ''protégé of the Lord of the lands'' in the Kassite language, where Buriaš (, dbu-ri-ia-aš₂) is a Kassite storm god possibly corresponding to the Greek Boreas, was a king in the Kassite dynasty of Babylon, in a kingdom contemporarily called Karduniaš, ruling ca. 1359–1333 BC, where the Short and Middle chronologies have converged. Recorded as the 19th King to ascend the Kassite throne, he succeeded Kadašman-Enlil I, who was likely his father, and ruled for 27 years. Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (born 2 July 1991), known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. Steven Howse (born September 23, 1974), known professionally as Layzie Bone, is a rapper known primarily for being a member of the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. He has also gone by the names L-Burna and The #1 Assassin. He is the younger brother of fellow group member Flesh-N-Bone and cousin of group member Wish Bone. Mama Burna
Bose Ogulu is a Nigerian academic, businesswoman and talent manager. She manages her son Burna Boy's musical career and thus is also known as Mama Burna. Early life Ogulu is the daughter of Nigerian music critic Benson Idonije, who was the manager of Fela Kuti. With a Bachelor of Arts in foreign languages and a Masters of Arts in translation from University of Port Harcourt, Ogulu had a successful career as a translator for the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce. Tel Burna is an Israeli archaeological site located in the Shephelah (Judean foothills), along the banks of Nahal Guvrin, not far from modern-day Qiryat Gat. History and identification The site was primarily inhabited in the Bronze and Iron Ages, and was one of a series of sites along the border between Judah and Philistia in the Iron Age. The first excavations at the site were conducted in the summer of 2010, as part of a long term archaeological project, headed by Itzhaq Shai and Joe Uziel, affiliated with Bar Ilan University. Tel Burna is located near Beit Guvrin/Maresha, Tel Goded, Lachish, Tell es-Safi/ Gath and Tel Zayit. Due to its location, and its prominence in the Iron Ages, W. Albright and Y. Burna, Kentucky
Burna is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in central Livingston County, Kentucky, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 257. It is home to the North Livingston Elementary School and Livingston County Middle School. The name was decided upon by a contest. A young girl named Burna was selected as the winner, and so the town was named after her. Geography Burna is in central Livingston County along U.S. Route 60, which leads east to Salem and southwest to Smithland, the county seat. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Burna CDP has an area of , of which , or 0.23%, are water. Demographics As of the 2020 census, there were 219 people, 107 housing units, and 49 families in the CDP.
