Burlington Community High School, or Burlington High School, is a four-year state school, public secondary education, high school located in Burlington, Iowa. The school has an enrollment of 1046 students in grades 9 through 12. It is located at 421 Terrace Street and takes up the entire block on the west side of the street, from Terrace Drive, to Roosevelt Avenue, and north-south, from Division Street, to Johanssen Drive. The current building was completed in 1969, with the first graduating class in 1970, prior to that, the school was located in another two building campus two blocks west of Central Avenue, near the downtown business district. Until 1983, 9th grade students were enrolled in a separate building, the following school year, ninth grade was integrated into the high school. Burlington High School is a high school located in Burlington, Kansas, United States, serving students in grades 9-12. The school is the westernmost building in the northern education complex on the outer edge of the city limits. It is the only high school in the Unified School District No. 244. The current principal is Jim Kuhn. The school mascot is the Wildcat and the school colors are red, gray, and black. History In 1996, a courtyard and gazebo in the center of the facility was enclosed and converted to computer technology labs. In 2005, an addition was made to the athletics portion of the campus by adding baseball and softball diamonds, so the team could play closer to the school. Burlington High School (BHS) is a public high school located in Burlington, Vermont, United States. BHS' current (since 1964) campus is its fourth. Two of the former buildings still exist, one (1900–1964) as the Edmunds Elementary and Middle School complex while the second one, used in the late 1800s, is now a private residence. Burlington Central High School is a public middle school and high school in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, in the Halton District School Board. Enrollment was 686 students in September 2008. The current school building was constructed in 1922 and has been added to extensively over the years. The last major addition was made in the 1965, which added a new technical wing and gymnasiums. Burlington College was a private college in Burlington, Vermont. It offered associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees, as well as several professional certificates. Although regionally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the college was placed on probation in July 2014 for failing to meet the accreditor's standards regarding financial resources. The college ceased operations in 2016. History Burlington College started in 1972 as the Vermont Institute of Community Involvement. A handful of students met in the living room of founder Dr. Steward LaCasce. It originally served adult learners and veterans.
