Buried Alive (Avenged Sevenfold Song)
Buried Alive is a song by the American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold, off the band's fifth studio album ''Nightmare''. The song was released as the albums fourth and final single on September 20th, 2011. The music of the song was mostly written by the band's late drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who died on December 28, 2009. Singer M. Shadows has stated he is extremely proud of the song. Music video In September 2011, the band announced plans for an official music video. They tried to get Rob Zombie to direct the video, but he declined due to being focused on another project. A music video never ended up being produced, but on February 14th, 2013, an animated lyric video was posted on YouTube. As of April 20th, 2023, the lyric video has over 100 million views on YouTube. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Margaret went to Oberlin College & Conservatory and Skidmore College and was also a pilot. Carl and Margaret met on a train while going to a choral workshop. Andy Wallace (born 1947 in New Jersey) is an American music studio producer, audio and mixing engineer with a long track record of productions. Over the years, he focused exclusively on mixing.
