Bullets (Editors Song)
"Bullets" is the debut single by British post-punk revival band Editors, originally released 24 January 2005. It is from their 2005 debut album, '' The Back Room''. The single was mixed by Cenzo Townshend and the video made for the song was directed by Mike Brady. Both editions of the original single were limited to 500 copies. It was then re-released on 26 September 2005 as the fourth single from the album. A new single version was re-recorded and produced by Jacknife Lee and a second video was made for the song, directed by Martin de Thurah Martin de Thurah (born 29 April 1974 in Copenhagen) is a Danish film director, screenwriter, cinematographer and music video director. Editors (band)
Editors are an English rock band, formed in 2002 in Birmingham. Previously known as Pilot, The Pride and Snowfield, the band currently consists of Tom Smith (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Russell Leetch (bass guitar, synthesiser, backing vocals), Ed Lay (drums, percussion, backing vocals), Justin Lockey (lead guitar), Elliott Williams (keys, synthesizers, guitars, and backing vocals), and Benjamin John Power (composer and producer). Editors have so far released two platinum studio albums, and six in total, with several million combined sales. Their debut album '' The Back Room'' was released in 2005. It contained the hits "Munich" and "Blood" and the following year received a Mercury Prize nomination. Post-punk revival (also known as garage rock revival,J. Stuessy and S. D. Martin de Thurah (born 29 April 1974 in Copenhagen) is a Danish film director, screenwriter, cinematographer and music video director. Cenzo Townshend
Vincenzo Capellini Townshend (born 28 October 1963) is an English record producer, mixer, and audio engineer, and has worked with artists and bands including the Rolling Stones, a-ha, Kaiser Chiefs, U2, Snow Patrol, Florence and the Machine, Friendly Fires, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, the Maccabees, Jamie Cullum and Thirty Seconds to Mars. Townshend was awarded 'Mix Engineer of the Year' for two successive years by the Music Producers Guild Awards in 2009 and 2010, and nominated again in 2016, 2017 and 2018. "Blood" is a song by British post-punk revival band Editors from their 2005 debut album, '' The Back Room''. It was released 11 July 2005 as the third single from the album and was re-released on 19 June 2006. It was in very limited release with the CD limited to 5000 copies whilst the 10-inch single was deleted on day of release and was only available through pre-ordering.
