Bulleen Road is a 4 kilometre long road in north-eastern Melbourne, Australia serving the suburbs of Bulleen and Balwyn North, which can be seen as an alternative thoroughfare between Heidelberg and Doncaster via the Eastern Freeway. Since the opening of EastLink the road has seen significantly larger volumes of traffic, particularly between the Eastern Freeway and Manningham Road due to the traffic between the Eastern Freeway and the Metropolitan Ring Road. Route Bulleen Road starts at the intersection with Templestowe Road and Bridge Street in Bulleen and runs south as a four-lane, single-carriageway road, nearly immediately crossing Manningham Road, eventually widening to a four-lane, dual-carriageway road a short distance south. Bulleen ( ) is an eastern suburb in Melbourne, Australia, 13 km north-east of the Melbourne central business district, located within the City of Manningham local government area. The Eastern Freeway is an urban freeway in eastern Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. It is one of the most important freeways in terms of commuting to the city, connecting Alexandra Parade and Hoddle Street in the inner suburbs, with EastLink (Melbourne), EastLink tollway farther east. VicRoads is a government joint venture in the state of Victoria, Australia. In the state, it is responsible for driver licensing and vehicle registration. Marcellin College is a Catholic secondary boys' college in Bulleen, Victoria, Australia. The school was founded in 1950 by the Marist Brothers originally in Canterbury Road, Camberwell, Victoria. A senior school campus was opened in Bulleen for years 9 to 12 with the Canterbury campus catering for years 4 to 8. With the school population growing the Junior School in Camberwell stopped accepting students in grades 4, 5 and 6 and took only Years 7 and 8. EastLink, Melbourne
EastLink is a tolled section of the M3 freeway linking a large area through the eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. EastLink is electronically tolled with no cash booths, using a system developed by SICE. The SICE Tolling System is similar to (and interoperable with) the '' e-TAG'' system used on the CityLink tollway. EastLink was opened to traffic on Sunday 29 June 2008 and in conjunction with the opening, a month-long toll-free period occurred before regular tolling commenced on 27 July 2008.
