Bugg
{{Unreferenced, date=June 2011 Bugg is a common dance style in Sweden and is very popular on the dancefloors, when dansbands play. Bugg is a four-step dance and performed at different paces (120–180 BPM). Bugg is a partner dance and follows certain basic rules, but is essentially improvised, with the woman following the man's lead. Acrobatics, Acrobatic moves are not allowed on national or international dancecompetitions. Swedish Bugg belongs to the swing dance family and closely resembles Modern Jive. Bugg is both a very popular social dance as well as a competitive dance in Sweden. It also has the most competitors and practitioners within the Swedish Dancesport Federation. There is also a variant called double bugg that is usually performed by one man and two women, but other combinations of three dancers may appear. Double Bugg

Dance detail Double bugg is more or less a competitive dance within the BRR dance family administered by the Swedish Dancesport Federation. The dance style has its background in another typical and invented Swedish dance style, namely Bugg. Bugg comes originally from Lindy Hop (Jitterbug). Double bugg is danced by three persons, especially a gentleman and two women. Variations occur however. Double bugg is mostly performered on dance competitions, but sometimes also occurred among social dancers. The dance arose during the 80s and was due to deficiency on gentlemen wanted to dance. Swedish Dancesport Federation
Swedish Dancesport Federation (DSF) administers all dancesport in Sweden. The association was formed on February 25, 1968, and is one of 68 different sports federations in Sweden. DSF became a member of the Swedish Sports Confederation (RF) in 1977, which administers all sports in Sweden. Apart from this membership Swedish Dancesport Federation also is a member of the International Dancesport Federation (IDSF) from June 19, 2011 known as the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) and the World Rock'n'Roll Confederation (WRRC). The office lies in Farsta, Stockholm. Modern Jive
Modern Jive is a dance style derived from swing, Lindy Hop, rock and roll, salsa and others, the main difference being the simplification of footwork by removing syncopation such as chasse. The term "French Jive" is occasionally used instead, reflecting the origins of the style, as is the term "Smooth Jive". The word "modern" distinguishes it from ballroom Jive. History Modern Jive was developed in the United Kingdom during the 1980s at three London clubs: Ceroc, Le Roc, and Cosmopolitan Jive. The style was based on a type of Jive that evolved in France after World War II when American dances such as the jitterbug were popular due to the presence of the American military. Dansband
(; "dance band"), or in Norwegian and Danish, is a Swedish term for a band that plays ("dance band music"). ' is often danced to in pairs. Jitterbug and foxtrot music are often included in this category. The music is primarily inspired by swing, schlager, country, jazz, and rock. Dancesport
Dancesport is competitive ballroom dance, ballroom dancing, as contrasted to social or exhibition dancing. In the case of Para dancesport, at least one of the dancers is in a wheelchair. Dancesport events are sanctioned and regulated by dancesport organizations at the national and international level, such as the World DanceSport Federation.
