Bud McCaig
John Robert "Bud" McCaig (14 June 1929 – 11 January 2005) was a Canadian businessman and a co-owner of the Calgary Flames NHL franchise. McCaig was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on 14 June 1929 to John Waters McCaig (1905–1981) and Stella May Cook (1909–1997). His father was originally from Thornhill, Dumfriesshire, while his mother was from Villa Grove, Illinois. John and Stella had three other children, Jeanne Bernice (1931–1961), Roger Woodrow (1933–1976), and Maurice Wayne. Bud attended Moose Jaw Technical High School but dropped out in 1946 to join his father in the transportation business. In 1961, the company moved to Calgary and bought a competing company named H.M. Trimble & Sons, thus expanding their business into the rest of Alberta, and into British Columbia and Alaska. Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
Moose Jaw is the fourth largest city in Saskatchewan, Canada. Lying on the Moose Jaw River in the south-central part of the province, it is situated on the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Regina. Residents of Moose Jaw are known as Moose Javians. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Moose Jaw No. 161. Moose Jaw is an industrial centre and important railway junction for the area's agricultural produce. Tisdale, Saskatchewan
Tisdale is the business centre for the rich agricultural boreal forest area in central Saskatchewan, Canada. This town is in the Rural Municipality of Tisdale No. 427, Saskatchewan. Located at the junction of Highway 35 and Highway 3, and serviced by both the Canadian National Railway and the Canadian Pacific Railway, Tisdale is the grain handling centre of the region with five inland grain terminals, and is the centre of regional industry. Barbados
Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of the Americas, and the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands.
