Bseiso ( ar, بسيسو) (also translated as Beseiso, Bsaiso, Besaiso, Bsiso, Bsisu, Bseisu, Besiso) is an Arab (Levantine) surname of Palestinian origins, dating back to late 18th and early 19th century. They are one of the largest and most famous Palestinian families in Palestine and are well known throughout the region. Originating from Aleppo centuries ago before borders then migrated and took refuge in Gaza in Palestine where they held the most prominent positions in government and society. They were also one of the largest land owners in Palestine. The family has many remarkable accomplishments in the society and the country in different fields mostly law and businesses. Atef Bseiso
Atef Bseiso ( ar, عاطف بسيسو, 23 August 1948 – 8 June 1992) was the Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) liaison officer with foreign intelligence agencies. He was assassinated in Paris in 1992. Several theories exist regarding the reason for his murder. According to one, alleging he played a role in the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre, his execution was part of the Wrath of God Operation. Others argue it was an Israeli operation aiming to disrupt relations of the PLO with Western intelligence agencies. The PLO denied Bseiso had any connection to the Munich operation. His death was seen at the time as damaging PLO attempts to strengthen their credentials by sharing intelligence information with Western countries on terrorist operations hostile to Western interests. Musallam Wajih Bseiso ( ar, مسلم بسيسو; 10 January 1926 – 26 October 2017) was a Palestinian journalist and politician. Biography Musallam Bseiso was born in Bisan, Mandatory Palestine (region), Palestine. He attended school in Beersheba and Gaza City, Gaza, graduating from The Bishop Gobat School in Jerusalem. He worked and participated in the creation of Jordanian and Arab newspapers. At an early age, he was writing for the Haifa and Jerusalem newspapers. Additionally, he was a correspondent stationed in Gaza City, Gaza for a number of newspapers in the 1940s, including the Associated Press (1948), the Egyptian "Al-Ahram", and the Jordanian "Al-Nasr". Shadia Bseiso ( ar, شادية بسيسو, born June 20, 1986) is a Jordanian TV presenter, jiu-jitsu athlete and professional wrestler. In October 2017, Bseiso became the first Arab female wrestler from the Middle East to sign a contract with WWE, the world's largest wrestling promotion company. Biography Shadia Bseiso was born on 20 June 1986 in Amman, Jordan. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the American University of Beirut. Muin Bseiso
Mu'in Tawfiq Bseiso (1926 – January 23, 1984) ( ar, معين بسيسو) was a Palestinian poet who lived in Egypt, where he first entered the world of poetry. He finished his primary and secondary education in Gaza in 1948. He started publishing his work in the Jaffa-based magazine ''Al-Hurriya'' ( ar, الحرية) (translated: Liberty), where he published his first poems in 1946. Two years later, in 1948, he enrolled in the American University in Cairo and subsequently graduated in 1952. His dissertation was titled "The Spoken or Head Word in Lower Eastern Broadcast Media", discussing the borders between radio and TV on one hand and the printed newspaper media on the other. He became involved with democratic and national work early on in his life, and later dedicated himself to poetry and teaching.
