Bryce Thompson
Bryce Joseph Thompson (born February 26, 2002) is an American college basketball player for the Oklahoma State Cowboys of the Big 12 Conference. He previously played for the Kansas Jayhawks. He was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the best shooting guards in the 2020 class. High school career Thompson attended Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was coached by Conley Phipps. He led the team to two state runner-up finishes during his freshman and sophomore seasons. As a junior, Thompson led the Hornets to an Oklahoma State title and was named Gatorade Player of the Year. In the 2019 Under Armour Circuit, Thompson averaged 25.3 points per game for Oklahoma Run PWP. As a senior, Thompson averaged 25.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Bill Self
Billy Eugene Self Jr. (born December 27, 1962) is an American basketball coach. He is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Kansas, a position he has held since 2003. During his 19 seasons as head coach, he has led the Jayhawks to 16 Big 12 regular season championships, including an NCAA record 14 consecutive Big 12 regular season championships, some of which were shared (2005–2018). He has also led the Jayhawks to four NCAA Final Four appearances (2008, 2012, 2018, 2022), the 2008 NCAA championship and 2022 NCAA championship. Self was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017. Alvin "Pooh" Williamson (born September 5, 1973) is a former college basketball player who is currently an assistant coach at the University of Oklahoma. Williamson was interim head coach at the University of Tulsa and was an assistant coach at Texas Tech University. Williamson played for the Golden Hurricane from 1991 to 1995, becoming one of their best guards. The UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros men's basketball team, or UTRGV Vaqueros, represents the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas, United States. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball team represents the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The team participates in the American Athletic Conference.
