Bryan Station High School, founded in 1958, is a high school within the Fayette County Public Schools system in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. During the 2006–2007 school year, students were moved to their newly built school known as Bryan Station High. The school was named for Bryan Station, an 18th-century pioneer settlement. Melvin Turpin
Melvin Harrison Turpin (December 28, 1960 – July 8, 2010) was an American professional basketball player. He played five seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was an All-American college player at the University of Kentucky, where as a senior he led the Wildcats to the 1984 Final Four. Basketball career A 6'11" center, Turpin was born in Lexington, Kentucky and attended Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Virginia from 1979–80. Mohamed Thiaw (born January 24, 1995) is a Senegalese soccer player. Career College Born in Dakar, Senegal, Thiaw moved to Lexington, Kentucky as a 15-year-old where he attended Bryan Station High School and after graduation attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, where he played OCCAC soccer for two seasons and scored 41 goals in 34 appearances. Eric Shelton (born June 23, 1983) is a former American football running back. He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisville. Shelton has also been a member of the Washington Redskins. Frank LeMaster
Frank Preston LeMaster (March 12, 1952 – March 23, 2023) was an American professional American football, football linebacker who played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, he played four years of college football for the Kentucky Wildcats football, Kentucky Wildcats and was selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 1974 NFL Draft. He was a key member of Philadelphia's defense for several years, and along with Bill Bergey and John Bunting (American football), John Bunting, led one of the best 1970s linebacking corps in the league. He helped them reach Super Bowl XV in 1980 and was selected to his first and only Pro Bowl the following season. Teresa Isaac
Teresa Isaac, an American politician, served as mayor of Lexington, Kentucky from 2003 to 2007. Political life Isaac was elected to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government council as an At-Large member in 1988. In 1992, she was reelected to the Urban County Council (UCC) becoming the Vice-Mayor. She served in that capacity until 1999.
