Bruno Moreira
Bruno Daniel Pereira Castro Moreira (born 6 September 1987) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in the village of Landim, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Moreira finished his development at S.C. Braga. He started as a senior with amateurs G.D. Joane, then went on to spend the following five seasons in the Segunda Liga, with Varzim S.C. and Moreirense FC. In summer 2012, Moreira moved to the Primeira Liga with C.D. Nacional. His first game in the competition took place on 26 August, as he came as a 75th-minute substitute in a 3−1 away loss against former club Moreirense. His first goal arrived on 17 February of the following year, in a 1−1 draw at F.C. Paços de Ferreira. Whilst under contract with the Madeirans, he was loaned to PFC CSKA Sofia from Bulgaria, being released in January 2014 and signing for G.D. Chaves of the second division. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The 2012–13 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga ZON Sagres for sponsorship reasons) was the 79th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. The 2009–10 Liga de Honra season (also known as Liga Vitalis due to sponsorship reasons) is the 20th season of the second-tier football in Portugal. It began on 13 August 2009 and will end on 9 May 2010. Olhanense are the defending champions. Teams Trofense were relegated to the Liga de Honra after finishing 16th and last in the Portuguese Liga 2008–09 season. Trofense were to be accompanied by Belenenses, who finished in 15th place. Belenenses were ending a ten-year stretch in the Portuguese top-level league, while Trofense returned to the Liga da Honra after just one year in the top flight. However, Estrela de Amadora, who finished in 11th place, were instead relegated to the Liga Vitalis for economic problems. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. The player can then go on to sign for any club offering a contract to them.
