The Brunei Super Cup is a Brunei football cup competition. It was first held in 2002, but has been played on and off since its inception. It is the curtain raiser to the Brunei football season. This competition is played between the league champion and the cup winner. National Football Association Of Brunei Darussalam
The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam ( ms, Persatuan Bolasepak Brunei Darussalam; abbrev: FABD) is the governing body of football in Brunei, controlling the Brunei national football team. History FABD is the successor organisation of the Brunei Football Association (BAFA) that was banned by FIFA and AFC in 2009 for government interference. At its meeting on May 30, 2011, the Fifa Executive Committee, presided over by president Joseph S. Blatter, resolved to remove the suspensions against the football associations of Bosnia-Herzegovina (FFBH) and Brunei Darussalam. In July 2021, it rebranded into its current name, omitting the word "National". The association was also previously known as the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD). Kota Ranger FC
Kota Ranger Football Club (; abbrev: KRFC), formerly Perkota, is a Bruneian football club, playing in the Brunei Super League. It was formed in 1978 and was successful in the late eighties and early nineties, winning the national championships twice. Kota Ranger directly translates to City Ranger in English. Having won two national championship playoffs, a competition that pitted the four district champions against one another; in 1987 and 1993, Kota Ranger is regarded as one of the most successful clubs from that era. DST Group Brunei Premier League ( ms, DST GROUP LIGA PERDANA BRUNEI) was the top-tier football league of Brunei until 2012, when it became the second tier of the football pyramid of Brunei with the creation of the Brunei Super League by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam. History From 1985 to 1993, the champions of the four districts ( Belait, Brunei-Muara, Temburong, Tutong) entered into the National Championship playoff. Brunei FA Cup
The Brunei FA Cup is Brunei's premier knockout tournament in men's football. The current format is administered by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) since 2012. The championship winner will receive B$10,000 and first runner up will get B$7,000 ($5,000 USD) as prize money. Participation Previously all football clubs that have registered with the NFABD were eligible to enter the FA Cup, including non-league teams such as FC Phosphor. Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club (His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Brunei Football Club in English, commonly known as DPMM FC) is a professional football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The club played in the Brunei Premier League in the early 2000s, winning the league title in 2002 and 2004. The club then decided to play in Malaysia, and joined the Malaysian Premier League as a foreign-based team in for the 2005–06 season. They won promotion to the Malaysian Super League (the top tier of Malaysian football) at the end of their first season in Malaysian football, and then finished 3rd and 10th in the following two season in the Super League. Wijaya FC
Wijaya Football Club (; abbrev: WFC) is a football club from Brunei that competes in the Brunei Super League. They are a founding member of both the B-League in 2002, as well as the Super League in 2012. They were also the inaugural winners of the Brunei FA Cup in 2002. History Early years In 1975, the club began as a bunch of under-14s competing at the Ong Sum Ping Field under the name Pekerma FC. The senior side Youngster FC, the club that served as an example and source of encouragement for the teenagers as they grew up, occupied the space the majority of the time. Indera Sports Club (; abbrev: ISC), formerly Kilat FC and Indera Football Association, is a multi-sports club based in Brunei, mostly known for its association football team.
