DST Group Brunei Premier League ( ms, DST GROUP LIGA PERDANA BRUNEI) was the top-tier football league of Brunei until 2012, when it became the second tier of the football pyramid of Brunei with the creation of the Brunei Super League by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam. History From 1985 to 1993, the champions of the four districts ( Belait, Brunei-Muara, Temburong, Tutong) entered into the National Championship playoff. The tournament was not played between 1994 and 2001. The Brunei Premier League was created in 2002, and it was the top-tier league until 2012, when it was replaced by the Brunei Super League. From 2014 until 2019 it was made into a second tier competition. The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam ( ms, Persatuan Bolasepak Brunei Darussalam; abbrev: FABD) is the governing body of football in Brunei, controlling the Brunei national football team. History FABD is the successor organisation of the Brunei Football Association (BAFA) that was banned by FIFA and AFC in 2009 for government interference. At its meeting on May 30, 2011, the Fifa Executive Committee, presided over by president Joseph S. Blatter, resolved to remove the suspensions against the football associations of Bosnia-Herzegovina (FFBH) and Brunei Darussalam. Panchor Murai FC
Panchor Murai Football Club is a football club in Brunei, playing in the Brunei Super League. It takes its name from the village of Panchor Murai in Brunei-Muara District. It was formally established in 2009. History Panchor Murai FC formerly played at the district level of Brunei's football pyramid, under the name MPK Pancur Murai. They qualified for the Brunei Premier League in 2015, and finished fourth out of 11 clubs that season. They struggled for form in the season after, barely managing to survive the drop in eighth place. Panchor Murai finished rock bottom in the 2017 Brunei Premier League and relegation was looming for the club, until it was saved via the pulling out of DSP United and Tunas FC from the league. Panaga
Panaga is a coastal settlement on the north-east coast of the island of Borneo, in the Bruneian district of Belait. Officially known in Malay as (sometimes ), it is a village-level subdivision under Seria, a mukim or subdistrict of Belait. Tutong or officially known as Tutong Town ( ms, Pekan Tutong) is a municipality town in Mukim Pekan Tutong Tutong District, Brunei. It is located about from the country's capital Bandar Seri Begawan. Jerudong
Kampong Jerudong or simply Jerudong is a village in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei, about from the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The population was 3,856 in 2016. It is one of the settlements within Mukim Sengkurong. The village is home to a few notable places of the country. It is the location of Jerudong Park, the country's sole amusement park, as well as The Empire Hotel and Country Club, a luxury hotel often regarded as one of the notable landmarks of Brunei. Jerudong Park
Jerudong Park is an amusement park in Jerudong, Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. It is the largest and most expensive amusement park in Southeast Asia, built and funded by the Bruneian government for $1 billion. The Park began in design in the early 1990s, designed by an Australian, Perth-based Architecture and Landscape design firm. The same firm designed the "Crystal Arch" or the colloquially referred "Diamond Roundabout" at the entry to Istana Nurul Izzah, near Kampung Jerudong. During its first few years of operation, the park was completely free, with no admission fees and free rides. In 2009, it was reported that the number of visitors and tourists had dropped significantly. The owners introduced a one-time B$15 admission fee and a ride ticketing system. Mukim Berakas 'A' is a mukim in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. The population was 27,223 in 2016. Background The mukim and Mukim Berakas 'B' were originally one mukim by the name 'Mukim Berakas' before being split into the current divisions in 1996. Geography The mukim borders the South China Sea to the north, Mukim Mentiri and Mukim Berakas 'B' to the east, Mukim Kianggeh to the south, Mukim Gadong 'B' to the south-west and Mukim Gadong 'A' to the west. Tabuan Muda (English:''Young Wasps'') was a Bruneian football team that played in the Bruneian football league system, under the management of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam. The team was formed in 2015 to prepare Brunei's youth international teams for their participation in upcoming regional and international tournaments.
