Bruce LaFrance
Bruce LaFrance (born in Bay City, Michigan) is an American bassist. Career In 2005, when Tantric bassist Jesse Vest had left the band, LaFrance was suggested as a replacement. In January 2006, LaFrance traveled with Tantric and hard rock group Drowning Pool to Seoul, South Korea to play several shows for U.S. troops stationed along the Korean Demilitarized Zone. In March 2006, Tantric parted ways with Maverick Records which was collapsing. Maverick had postponed the release of the third record which caused much internal strife in the band already strained by personal and musical frustration. During this time LaFrance was in a side project called "State Of The Art" with Hugo Ferreira (Tantric), Joe Pessia (Dramagods), Marcus Ratzenboeck, Kevin Miller ( Fuel). Bay City, Michigan
Bay City is a city and county seat of Bay County in the U.S. state of Michigan, located near the base of the Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron. Tantric (band)
Tantric is an American rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. The group was founded in 1998 by Todd Whitener, Jesse Vest and Matt Taul after they left Days of the New, and joined forces with vocalist Hugo Ferreira. Ferreira is the only remaining member of the band from the original lineup. The band's most recent release, their 8th full-length album " The Sum Of All Things", was released July 23, 2021, via Cleopatra Records. Drowning Pool is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1996. The band was named after the 1975 film ''The Drowning Pool (film), The Drowning Pool''. Since its formation, the band has consisted of guitarist C.J. Pierce, bassist Stevie Benton, and drummer Mike Luce, as well as a revolving cast of vocalists, the latest being Jasen Moreno. The Korean Demilitarized Zone (Korean: ; Hanbando Bimujang Jidae) is a strip of land running across the Korean Peninsula near the 38th parallel north. The demilitarized zone (DMZ) is a border barrier that divides the peninsula roughly in half. It was established to serve as a buffer zone between the countries of North Korea and South Korea under the provisions of the Korean Armistice Agreement in 1953, an agreement between North Korea, China, and the United Nations Command. DramaGods
DramaGods (formerly known as Population 1) is a rock band led by Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt. The band originally started when Bettencourt released the album '' Population 1'' in 2002 (late 2001 in Japan). On the album, he recorded all the instruments on most of the tracks. When he decided to go on tour to support the album, he formed a touring band with Joe Pessia on rhythm guitar, Steve Ferlazzo on keyboards and back-up vocals, Philip Bynoe on bass and Kevin Figueiredo on drums. Later Phil left and Joe took the role of bassist. In 2004, while still under the moniker of Population 1, they released an EP titled '' Sessions from Room 4''. In 2005, due to legal issues, Bettencourt dropped the name Population 1 and changed it to DramaGods with the same lineup. Days of the New is an American rock band from Charlestown, Indiana, formed in 1995. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Travis Meeks and a variety of supporting musicians. Todd Whitener
Todd Whitener is an American musician best known from his time with the bands Days of the New and Tantric. He is currently on his own solo project, entitled ''Whitener''. He has released three albums and one extended play since 2012. Early life Whitener began playing guitar in 1992, when he bought a 'Dixon' guitar for 70 dollars. From the year 1992 until 1995, he played in various local bands. In 1995, he joined a band formed by members Jesse Vest, Travis Meeks and Mat Taul. Matthew Shafer (born June 6, 1974), also known by his stage name Uncle Kracker, is an American singer and musician. He was previously a turntablist for Kid Rock's backing group Twisted Brown Trucker and since 1999 has recorded as a solo artist.
