Bruce Becker
Bruce Becker (born April 3, 1959) is an American drummer, author and drum teacher based in Los Angeles and has been teaching in the US and abroad since 1982. As a drummer with a variety of jazz, rock, and pop artists, Becker has recorded over twenty albums. Educator Studies Becker was a longtime student of Freddie Gruber (whose other students included Vinnie Colaiuta, Neil Peart, and Steve Smith), Becker was on the inside track of Gruber's world and has developed and extended Gruber's ideas about drum technique, including "the balance and motion of the stick," and understanding the natural principles of the physical body's interaction with the drum set. Becker's yoga practice has also incorporated a "Mind-Body Connection" component into his teachings. Becker did 5 Master Classes with Gruber and would demonstrate the concepts while Gruber expounded on the details behind the technique involved. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. David Becker
David Becker (born 20 October 1961) is an American jazz guitarist and leader of the David Becker Tribune. He is also a graduate of the Musicians Institute. Career David and his brother Bruce (drummer) formed the David Becker Tribune and toured Germany in 1984. After touring the colleges that same year, the band signed with MCA and released its debut album ''Long Peter Madsen'' in 1986. In 1988, Siberian Express (MCA), produced with Ken Caillat was released and reached No. 3 on '' R&R'' and the track "Anja" reached No. 1. This was followed in 1990 and 1991 by two albums, ''Third Time Around'' and ''In Motion''. In 2001, the band released one of the first DVD-Audio recordings, ''Germerica''. Jonathan Mover
Jonathan Mover a.k.a. "Mover" is an American drummer, engineer and producer. He is a former member of the bands Marillion and GTR. Early life and career Mover was raised in the Boston area and began playing drums at age thirteen. Primarily self-taught, he studied early on with Donn Carr and briefly attended Berklee College of Music until seeking out private study with Gary Chaffee before moving to London. Shortly after arriving in London, Mover joined the neo-progressive rock band Marillion in September 1983. He auditioned and got the role on the Wednesday, flew to Germany on the Thursday, and without rehearsals, performed on Friday with the band. They then headed straight to Rockfield Studios in Wales to write and record material for their second studio album, ''Fugazi''. Daniel Glass (born May 16, 1966) is an American drummer, author, historian and educator. Mark Schulman (born September 4, 1961 in Los Angeles, California) is an American musician and corporate speaker. He performed with Cher as her tour drummer on her D2K Tour. Schulman is also a session drummer as well as a music producer, audio engineer and co-owner of West Triad Studios, a recording venue located in Venice, California.
