The Vandals
The Vandals are an American punk rock band, established in 1980 in Orange County, California. They have released ten full-length studio albums, two live albums, and have toured the world extensively, including performances on the Vans Warped Tour. They are well known for their use of humor, preferring to use their music as a vehicle for comedy and sarcasm rather than as a platform for more serious issues. As of 2000, they are signed to Kung Fu Records. The band's lineup fluctuated significantly over their first nine years, though founding members Steven Ronald Jensen, guitarist Jan Nils Ackermann, and first consistent drummer Joe Escalante remained regular fixtures. Of the early members, only Escalante has remained through all subsequent incarnations of the band. The current lineup of Escalante, Dave Quackenbush, Warren Fitzgerald, and Josh Freese has remained intact since 1990 and is generally considered far removed from the band's early 1980s incarnation. Since 2002 Esc ...

Free Your Soul And Save My Mind
''Free Your Soul...and Save My Mind'' is the tenth studio album by crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies, released in 2000. A music video was made for "Pop Songs". It was the band's first official video in six years, since "Love Vs. Loneliness" (from '' Suicidal for Life''). This album marked the only time Suicidal Tendencies did not make any personnel changes over three consecutive studio recordings, as the lineup of Mike Muir, Mike Clark, Dean Pleasants, Josh Paul and Brooks Wackerman had recorded their previous album '' Freedumb'' and their 1998 EP ''Six the Hard Way''. Paul and Wackerman did, however, leave the band after the 2001 release of their split album '' Friends & Family, Vol. 2''. Freedumb
''Freedumb'' is a studio album by American crossover band Suicidal Tendencies. It was released in 1999 on Suicidal Records. The tracks are rawer than the funk-influenced thrash metal direction they were taking before the hiatus. The album's cover art is a reference to the photo '' Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima'' taken during World War II. Reception ''CMJ New Music Report'' wrote that the songs "display thousand-mile-an-hour, classic hardcore guitar assaults." In 2005, ''Freedumb'' was ranked number 489 in '' Rock Hard'' magazine's book of ''The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time''. Track listing Credits *Mike Muir – vocals *Dean Pleasants – lead guitar * Mike Clark – rhythm guitar *Brooks Wackerman – drums * Josh Paul – bass (credited as "additional musician") Tracks 1, 2, 5–10, 12, 13 * Recorded at Ocean Studios and Skip Saylor Studios * Produced by Paul Northfield Paul Northfield is a prolific British record producer and sound engineer, who has w ...

Mas Borracho
''Mas Borracho'' is the fourth album by Infectious Grooves, released in 2000. The title, as written on the album, is "but drunk" in Spanish. However, it is most likely a misspell of "más borracho", meaning "more drunk" or "drunker". Critical reception '' The Sunday Herald Sun'' called the band "as technically perfect as any outfit", writing that the album contains "such perfect slow-funk tracks as 'Lock It In The Pocket' and 'Borracho'." '' Rock Hard'' wrote that "the music is as always: well played, pleasantly live-like and powerfully produced. But that doesn't hide the fact that Mike uirand the like present us nothing more than boring funk-metal-rock with typically thin vocals." Track listing All songs by Mike Muir and Dean Pleasants, except where noted. # "Citizen of the Nation" (Muir, Siegel, Pleasants, Trujillo) – 4:24 # "Just a Lil Bit" (Muir, Siegel, Pleasants, Trujillo) – 3:38 # "Lock It in the Pocket" (Muir, Siegel, Pleasants, Trujillo) – 3:36 # ...

Groove Family Cyco
''Groove Family Cyco / Snapped Lika Mutha'' is the third album by Infectious Grooves, a 1994 concept record about a family of crazy people (the 'Cycos'). The "Violent & Funky" music video appeared in Beavis and Butt-head. Music and lyrics "Do What I Tell Ya!" criticizes the band Rage Against the Machine, who are well known for expressing anti-corporate, left-wing politics in their lyrics, but are signed with Epic Records, a subsidiary of Sony, a Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation. Mike Muir later stated that Rage Against the Machine's guitarist, Tom Morello, provoked the feud by attacking Suicidal Tendencies. The song was written in 4/4, and takes a straight rock music approach, while the rest of the album combines elements of hard rock, funk and punk rock. Track listing # "Violent & Funky" (Muir, Pleasants, Siegel, Trujillo) – 4:19 # "Boom Boom Boom" (Muir, Pleasants, Siegel, Trujillo) – 4:07 # "Frustrated Again" (Muir, Trujillo) – 2:59 # "Rules Go ...
