''Machine 15'' is the seventh studio album by Swedish punk rock band Millencolin. Release ''Machine 15'' was made available for streaming on 1 May through the band's Myspace profile. It was released in 2008 on various dates in different regions: 22 March in Australia, 7 April in Europe, 6 May in North America, and 21 May in Japan. Millencolin recorded parts of the album with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra from Örebro. A limited edition version included a DVD of a live performance in Stockholm in 2003. In March 2009, the band went on a tour of North America. Millencolin
Millencolin is a Swedish punk rock band that was formed on 12 October 1992 by Nikola Šarčević, Mathias Färm, and Erik Ohlsson in Örebro, Sweden. In early 1993, drummer Fredrik Larzon joined the band. The name Millencolin is derived from the skateboard trick "melancholy". History The original lineup, consisting of Šarčević (vocals and bass), Ohlsson (guitar), and Färm (drums), released their first demo tape, ''Goofy'', in early 1993. Soon afterwards, Larzon joined the band to play drums, allowing Färm to perform as the second guitarist. In the summer of 1993, they recorded a second demo tape, ''Melack''. The band sent the tape to Burning Heart Records, a new record label formed earlier that year. They signed Millencolin to do a CD single, which culminated in the release of '' Use Your Nose'' in November 1993. Lou Giordano
Lou Giordano (born c. 1957) is a record producer and recording engineer who co-founded Radiobeat Studios. He worked at Fort Apache Studios when it was located in Boston, and was a partner in the production company Prodco, which had close ties with Fort Apache. Giordano received a degree in electrical engineering from MIT. He was a sound man for Hüsker Dü through 1988, and later produced Bob Mould's spin off Sugar. Fredrik Larzon
Fredrik Larzon (born April 25, 1973) is the drummer of the Swedish punk band Millencolin. He was born and lives in Örebro, Sweden. He runs another project named Kvoteringen. Before joining Millencolin in 1993, Larzon was a member of the band Kung Pung. He replaced Mathias Färm on drums, who was better on guitar. His first recording with the band was their 1993 demo tape titled ''Melack''. Larzon has the most interaction with fans as he is in charge of the Millencolin newsletter and responds to most of the fan mail. He is also an active member in some Millencolin fan forums. Erik Ohlsson (born 2 July 1975 in Örebro, Sweden) is the lead and rhythm guitarist of Swedish punk rock band Millencolin. He currently resides in Örebro, Sweden.
