Broadway Kids
The Broadway Kids was a concert group based in New York from 1994 to 2004. The group consisted of a rotating company of children, aged 8 to 16, who have performed in at least one Broadway, Off-Broadway or major national touring production. They performed concerts singing showtunes from various musicals, appearing at special events such as ''Broadway on Broadway,'' and have recorded five Broadway-centric CDs, one Christmas CD, and two Pop-centric CDs. The Broadway Kids have also appeared in the Off-Broadway show ''The Broadway Kids Sing Broadway,'' which has been produced in various theatres in New York and elsewhere. After releasing "Hey Mr. DJ!" in 2002, The Broadway Kids quit recording CDs. They continued to tour throughout 2004 and disbanded shortly after. ''Phineas and Ferb'' is an American animated musical-comedy television series created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh for Disney Channel and Disney XD. Jane Eyre (musical)
''Jane Eyre'' is a musical drama with music and lyrics by composer-lyricist Paul Gordon and a book by John Caird, based on the 1847 novel by Charlotte Brontë. The musical premiered on Broadway in 2000. Production history A workshop of the musical was performed at Manhattan Theatre Club in 1995. The musical had a work-in-progress workshop production in Wichita, Kansas in Autumn 1995 at the Centre Theatre. Minor roles and the large ensemble of schoolgirls for the scenes at Brocklehurst's school were cast locally, while the directors brought several members of the principal cast from New York. The musical was well received, and a recording of this rendition allowed the creative team and their backers to slowly move the project towards an opening on Broadway. Andrea Bowen is an American actress and singer. She began her career appearing on Broadway musicals, including ''Les Misérables'' and ''The Sound of Music''. Dream Street were an American pop music, pop boy band that was formed in 1999 by Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow. The band disbanded in 2002 following a legal dispute between parents of the band members and the band's managers. History The group was initially put together by music producers Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow. Christopher Ryan Pask (June 11, 1985 – June 2, 2020) known professionally as Chris Trousdale, was an American singer, dancer and actor. He was a member of The Broadway Kids and the boy band Dream Street, working with Jesse McCartney, Frankie J. Galasso, Gregory Raposo, and Matt Ballinger. Early life Trousdale was the son of Helena Pask Trousdale and her first husband William Sakelson. His parents divorced and his mother remarried Wayne Trousdale.
