Britta Martin
Britta Martin (born 2 September 1978 in Hannover, Germany) is a German born, New Zealand based professional triathlete and multiple winner of Ironman distance races all over the world (2012, 2014). Career Britta Martin studied sports science at the Technical University Munich. In the beginning she has been a cyclist. In her first triathlon season 2003 she won her first two competitions in the Munich region together with Faris Al-Sultan, winner of the Ironman World Championships two years later, as the fastest man on the podium. At the German half-iron Championships 2003 in Kulmbach, Bavaria, she finished seventh in the individual standings 36 min behind the winning Nina Kraft, who reached third at the Ironman World Championships two months later. Robin Neil Reid (born 16 December 1975 in Invercargill) is a former road racing cyclist from Blenheim, New Zealand who was a New Zealand time trial champion and Olympian. He won the Tour de Pakistan race in 2007. There he met the German-born former professional female cyclist Britta Martin, who won the female sections of the event and has been together with her ever since. End of 2007 they moved in together in Nelson, New Zealand. Britta Martin competes since 2008 as a professional triathlete mainly at the Ironman distance. Kailua-Kona is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hawaii County, Hawaii, United States. The 2013 Ironman World Championship was a long distance triathlon competition that was held on October 12, 2013 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The event was won by Belgium's Frederik Van Lierde and Australia's Mirinda Carfrae. It was the 37th edition of the Ironman World Championship, which has been held annually in Hawaii since 1978. Challenge Roth
Challenge Roth is a triathlon race organised by in and around Roth bei Nürnberg, Bavaria, Germany. It is held annually in July. The Ironman distance (140.6 miles / 226.2 kilometers) version of the race has been held since 1990, and the short distance version since 1984. It was part of the Ironman series until 2001. It has been held independently from WTC since 2002. The number of participants is around 3500 individuals and 650 relay teams.
