''Bring 'Em Bach Alive!'' is the debut solo album by heavy metal singer Sebastian Bach, his first after his departure from Skid Row. It was released in November 1999. It is mainly a live album composed of Skid Row songs of Bach's era; however it also includes five new studio recordings which are the first five tracks on the album including the single "Superjerk, Superstar, Supertears" and the promo single "Rock 'N' Roll". Overview The album charted at number 95 in Japan and sold US: 16,979+ The song "The Most Powerful Man in the World" was originally released on the 1998 album '' The Last Hard Men'' from the band of the same name which was formed and fronted by Bach after he left Skid Row in 1996. Sebastian Bach
Sebastian Philip Bierk (born April 3, 1968), known professionally as Sebastian Bach, is a Canadian-American singer who achieved mainstream success as the frontman of the hard rock band Skid Row from 1987 to 1996. He has acted on Broadway and has made appearances in film and television such as ''Trailer Park Boys'' and ''Gilmore Girls''. He continues his music career as a solo artist. Early years Bach was born in the Bahamas and was raised in Peterborough, Ontario. He is one of eight children. His brother Zac Bierk is a retired ice hockey player. His father, David Bierk (d. 2002), was a noted painter. Dave "the Snake" Sabo
David Michael Sabo (born September 16, 1964), nicknamed "The Snake", is an American musician best known as one of the guitarists of heavy metal band Skid Row. Biography Pre-Skid Row Sabo was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and grew up in nearby Sayreville, in the same neighborhood as childhood friend Jon Bon Jovi. His mother, Dorothy, raised him and his brothers as a single mother. Inspired by the likes of Kiss, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, as well as the Rolling Stones, Sabo began playing guitar at the age of 14 on a $40 Sears guitar his mother had purchased for his older brother years earlier. Sabo was also a promising athlete, even being professionally scouted while a high school baseball player. Mark McConnell
Mark "Bam-Bam" McConnell (August 27, 1961 – May 24, 2012) was an American rock and heavy metal musician, best known for his role from 1997–2005 as drummer with Sebastian Bach, and later with Blackfoot and Southern Rock Allstars. Though almost exclusively a touring drummer, he was well known in the late 1980s and early 1990s metal scene. Career McConnell started his career with local bands in Florida, including the Luca-Gordon Band in 1987, and Madam X, replacing Roxy Petrucci. The vocalist with Madam X at that time was Canadian singer Sebastian Bach, who left in 1987 to join Skid Row. McConnell left Madam X the following year, and in 1989 he joined Carrera, and then Warp Drive, who released an album, ''Gimme Gimme'' the same year. Anton Fig
Anton Fig (born 8 August 1952 in Cape Town, South Africa), known as "The Thunder from Down Under", is a South African session drummer, perhaps best known as the drummer and second-in-command for Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band. David Letterman, for whom the band served as house band on his late-night talk shows, often referred to Fig as "Anton Zip" or "Buddy Rich Jr." Fig is also well known for his work with Kiss, Ace Frehley and Joe Bonamassa. Donald Roeser (born November 12, 1947), known by his stage name Buck Dharma, is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is the sole constant member of hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult since the group's formation in 1967. He wrote and sang vocals on several of the band's best-known hits, including "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla" and "Burnin' for You". Early life Roeser was born in Queens, New York City. His father was an accomplished jazz saxophonist, and Roeser spent a lot of time listening to jazz music as a result.
