Brindabella Airlines was an Australian regional airline established in 1994. Its headquarters were at Canberra International Airport. On 15 December 2013 the airline was placed in receivership. History Brindabella Airlines was founded by Lara Corry in March 1994 initially as an air charter service. Lara married Jeff Boyd who owned an aircraft maintenance business (WFL Engineering) later that year. Traralgon ( ) is a town located in the east of the Latrobe Valley in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia and the most populous city of the City of Latrobe. The urban population of Traralgon at the was 26,907. It is the largest and fastest growing city in the greater Latrobe Valley area, which has a population of 77,168 at the 2021 Census and is administered by the City of Latrobe. Naming The origin of the name Traralgon is unconfirmed. History In 1921 there was activity on the need for an aerodrome at Mudgee, with a proposal for privately owned air strip to be prepared near the town. From as early as 1933 there was agitation for a licensed public aerodrome for Mudgee. The Mudgee Racecourse was used as a landing ground when the first passenger air service from Mudgee to Sydney commenced 3 August 1937 by Southern Airlines and Freighters Limited.
