Brihonnola
''Brihonnola'' is a 2014 Bangladeshi feature film directed and produced by Murad Parvez based on a short story named "Gaach-ta Bolechilo" (The Tree had Told) by Indian Bengali author Syed Mustafa Siraj. The film stars Ferdous Ahmed, Sohana Saba, Azad Abul Kalam, Jhuna Choudhury, Intekhab Dinar. Brihonnola is a tale of the goodness inherent in human nature prevailing over religious prejudice and racial dogmatism. The film released on 19 September 2014. Plot Mohanpur is an ancient village, not unlike many such villages of our country, still deprived of the basic amenities of modern times. There is a local health centre minus a permanent doctor (Azad Abul Kalam) as no one is willing to work and live in a village. There is also a primary school with no more than a handful of pupils and the few who do go to school hardly ever attend college afterward. KS Firoz
Khandaker Shaheed Uddin Firoz (known as KS Firoz; 7 July 1946 – 9 September 2020) was a Bangladeshi actor. Background and career Firoz was born in Wazirpur, Barisal in the then Bengal Presidency, British India. He was brought up in Dhaka's Lalbagh area. Firoz joined the Bangladesh Army in 1967, and reached the rank of Major before retiring in 1977. He was active in the Dhaka theatre circuit, and got his breakthrough in ''King Lear''. He made his career debut in the television drama ''Dwip Tobuo Jwoley'' and in films in ''Lawarish''. Personal life Firoz married Madhobi in 1974, and had three daughters. Azad Abul Kalam (born 26 October 1966) is a Bangladeshi actor, director, writer and activist. He is one of the founders of Prachyanat and Prachyanat School of Acting and Design. Intekhab Dinar is a popular Bangladeshi actor known for starring in the Ekushey Television tv series ''Bondhone'' and Chorki series '' Unoloukik''. Early life The paternal grandfather of Dinar owned Purabi, a movie theater in Mymensingh. Career In 1995, Dinar joined the theater troupe "Nagorik Natya Somproday". Enamul Haque, sometimes Enamul Huq (29 May 1943 – 11 October 2021), was a Bangladeshi actor, academician and playwright. He acted in stage, television and film mediums. He was a professor at the Department of Chemistry of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2012 by the Government of Bangladesh for his contribution to fine arts.
