Brightest Day
''Brightest Day'' is a 2010–11 crossover storyline published by DC Comics, consisting of a year-long comic book maxiseries that began in April 2010, and a number of tie-in books. The story is a direct follow-up to the ''Blackest Night'' storyline that depicts the aftermath of the events of that storyline on the DC Universe. Plot At the end of the 2009–2010 ''Blackest Night'' storyline, 12 deceased heroes and villains are resurrected for some unknown purpose. The events of ''Brightest Day'' follow the exploits of these characters as they seek to learn the secret behind their return to life. Assignments ''Brightest Day'' #7 revealed that the 12 resurrected must complete an individual assignment given to them by the White Lantern Entity. Ivan Reis
Ivan Reis is a Brazilians, Brazilian comics artist. He is known for his work on comic books such as Dark Horse Comics' ''Ghost (Dark Horse Comics), Ghost'', Marvel Comics' ''Genis-Vell, Captain Marvel'' and ''Vision (Marvel Comics), Avengers Icons: The Vision'' and DC Comics' ''Action Comics'', ''Green Lantern (comic book), Green Lantern'' and ''Aquaman'' series. According to collaborator Geoff Johns, Reis's drawing style resembles those of Alan Davis and Neal Adams. Career For three years, Reis worked for Maurício de Sousa in Brazil. He began his international career for Dark Horse Comics working on ''Ghost (Dark Horse Comics), Ghost'', starting with issue #17 and acting as regular artist until the series concluded with issue #36. Other work for Dark Horse included ''The Mask (comics), The Mask'', ''Time Cop'', and ''Xena: Warrior Princess (comics), Xena''. He later worked for Lightning Comics (1990s), Lightning Comics. Anti-Monitor
The Anti-Monitor is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He served as the main antagonist of the 1985 DC Comics miniseries ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'' and later appears as an enemy to the Green Lantern Corps and the Justice League. In 2009, Anti-Monitor was ranked as IGN's 49th-greatest comic book villain of all time. LaMonica Garrett portrayed the character as the main antagonist in the Arrowverse crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths", as well as The Monitor. Publication history The Anti-Monitor first appeared in ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'' #2 (although he remained in shadow until ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'' #5) and was created by Marv Wolfman, George Pérez, and Jerry Ordway. He was believed to have been destroyed in ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'' #12 only to return after a long absence in ''Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special'' #1 (August 2007).
