Brick By Brick (band)
Brick By Brick is a hardcore metal band based out of Albany, New York. They have released five studio records and three 7" vinyl. The record ''Thin The Heard'' was re-released on 12" vinyl in 2017. History Brick By Brick was based on the Troy-Core style that the founding members grew up on. Mike Valente recruited Sean Green and Rory O'Brien after having a conversation about similar musical interests. Rich Roberts was picked as their frontman after a few other auditions. The idea was to be reminiscent of Hatebreed, Slayer, and the Troy style. At the time, they all lived in Troy, New York, and the "Troy-Core" moniker was embraced. In less than a year, the band released their first record ''Pull The Trigger''. In 2007, they released their second record, ''Wings Of Angels''. Both records are out of print. Troy is a city in the U.S. state of New York and the county seat of Rensselaer County. The city is located on the western edge of Rensselaer County and on the eastern bank of the Hudson River. Anthony Russell Foresta (born May 20, 1976) is an American vocalist who is the lead singer of crossover thrash bands Municipal Waste, Iron Reagan and (since 2022) the supergroup Heaven's Gate which he helped co-found with Cannibal Corpse drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz and who are in the process of recording new material. Foresta founded Municipal Waste in 2001 with Ryan Waste, Andy Harris, and Brendan Trache. In 2012, Foresta, along with Municipal Waste bandmate Phil Hall, Ryan Parrish, and Paul Burnette formed Iron Reagan. Testament is an American Thrash metal, thrash metal band from Berkeley, California. Formed in 1983 under the name Legacy, the band's current lineup comprises rhythm guitarist Eric Peterson (musician), Eric Peterson, lead vocalist Chuck Billy (vocalist), Chuck Billy, lead guitarist Alex Skolnick, bassist Steve Di Giorgio and drummer Dave Lombardo. Testament has experienced many lineup changes over the years, with Peterson being the only remaining original member, though they have since been rejoined by one of its songwriters Skolnick, who had been out of the band from 1992 to 2005. Charles Billy (born June 23, 1962) is an American singer who is best known as the lead vocalist for thrash metal band Testament. Career Testament Billy joined Legacy in 1986, replacing vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza who would later join Exodus. After Legacy changed its name to Testament, the band released their debut album ''The Legacy'' in 1987, which featured one song written by Billy entitled "Do or Die".
