Brian Stewart (politician)
Brian Stewart is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from the 12th district. Early life and education Stewart enlisted in the United States Army after graduating from Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, Ohio. After serving in the infantry during the Iraq War, Stewart returned to Ohio, earning a bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor from Ohio State University. Political career Stewart was elected to Village Council of Ashville, Ohio in November 2009. He earned 23.3% of the vote in the five-way, non-partisan race. In 2012, Stewart ran for Pickaway County, Ohio commissioner. He won the Republican nomination by securing 59.1% of the vote and went on to win the three-way general election with 44.6%. Ron Hood
Ronald Edward Hood (born 1969) is a former Republican legislator in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represented the 78th District. He also represented, at various times, both the 57th and the 91st districts. Hood was a candidate in the 2021 Ohio's 15th congressional district special election and is a candidate in the 2022 Ohio gubernatorial election. Education A graduate of the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University, Hood earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1991. He had dual majors in marketing and economics. Political career In 1992, Hood ran for an open seat in the Ohio House of Representatives, but lost by a narrow margin. Ohio's 15th Congressional District
The 15th congressional district of Ohio currently represented by Republican Mike Carey. It was represented by Republican Steve Stivers from 2011 until May 16, 2021, when he resigned to become president and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. The district includes the southern portions of Columbus as well as communities west and south of the city. It also includes the college towns of Athens and Wilmington. From 2003 to 2013 Union County and Madison County were entirely within the district's boundaries as is approximately half of Franklin County. The 15th district included the cities of Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Grove City, Grandview Heights, Plain City, London, and Wilmington, as well as the downtown and western portions of Columbus. Pickaway County, Ohio
Pickaway County is a county in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 58,539. Its county seat is Circleville. Its name derives from the Pekowi band of Shawnee Indians, who inhabited the area. (See List of Ohio county name etymologies.) Pickaway County is part of the Columbus, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. History The future state of Ohio was part of the Northwest Territory, created in 1787. Chillicothe High School
Chillicothe ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Ross County, Ohio, United States. Located along the Scioto River 45 miles (72 km) south of Columbus, Chillicothe was the first and third capital of Ohio. It is the only city in Ross County and is the center of the Chillicothe, OH Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 22,059 at the 2020 census.
