Brett Veach
Brett Veach (born December 19, 1977) is an American football executive who is the general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). Prior to being the Chiefs general manager, he was the Chiefs' co-director of player personnel. He began his career as an assistant for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004, eventually moving up and becoming a scout. Early years Veach attended the University of Delaware, where he also played college football. From 1998 to 2001, he played running back, wide receiver, and return specialist for the Fightin' Blue Hens. Veach's teammates included quarterback Matt Nagy, whom Veach would later invite to join the Eagles in 2009 and the two would follow Eagles head coach Andy Reid to the Chiefs in 2013. A return specialist or kick returner is a player on the special teams unit of a gridiron football team who specializes in returning punts and kickoffs. There are few players who are exclusively return specialists; most also play another position such as wide receiver, defensive back, or running back. John Michael Dorsey (born August 30, 1960) is an American football executive and former player who is a senior personnel executive for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as general manager of the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs.
