Brett Jungblut is an American professional poker player, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey and based in Las Vegas, Nevada. With only one class left to graduate college, Jungblut dropped out to pursue his dream as a professional poker player. Jungblut attended Voorhees High School, graduated in 1997. Jungblut began playing tournament poker in 2002. Since then he has over twenty in the money tournament finishes including first-place finishes at the Bicycle Casino's ''Winnin' o' the Green'' limit Texas hold 'em event and the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Omaha Hi-Lo World championship in 2004. 2004 World Series Of Poker
The 2004 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was held at Binion's Horseshoe after Harrah's Entertainment purchased the casino and the rights to the tournament in January. Harrah's announced that future WSOP tournaments will be held in a moving circuit of member casinos. Russell Aaron Boyd (born December 24, 1980), commonly known as Dutch Boyd, is an American professional poker player from Culver City, California (originally from Columbia, Missouri). Inspired by the 1998 movie ''Rounders'', Boyd began playing online poker day and night through his last year of law school. After graduating law school, Dutch moved to California and began playing poker during the day and working for a department store at night. During this time, Boyd and his brother decided to begin an online casino specializing in poker. He raised $50,000 from family and friends and began the PokerSpot website, which would eventually fail and spark controversy. Scott Fischman (born 1980 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania) is an American professional poker player based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Poker career Fischman grew up in South Jersey and moved to Las Vegas at the age of 12. He was introduced to poker by a school friend and went on to become a poker dealer at the Sahara and The Mirage. At the 2004 World Series of Poker (WSOP), he became the youngest person ever to win two WSOP bracelets, winning one bracelet in a no limit Texas hold'em and a second in a H.O.R.S.E. tournament. Omaha hold 'em (also known as Omaha holdem or simply Omaha) is a community card poker game similar to Texas hold 'em, where each player is dealt four cards and must make their best hand using exactly two of them, plus exactly three of the five community cards. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is a series of poker tournaments held annually in Paradise, Nevada and, since 2004, sponsored by Caesars Entertainment. It dates its origins to 1970, when Benny Binion invited seven of the best-known poker players to the Horseshoe Casino for a single tournament, with a set start and stop time, and a winner determined by a secret ballot of the seven players.
