Brendon Winslow
Brendon Winslow (born 30 August 1969) is a New Zealand rugby player of Croatian descent. Brendon Ricky Winslow was born in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand. His family lineage is through Jelavic and Srhoj families. Winslow coached Nada Rugby Club (Ragbi Klub Nada) in Split, Croatia from 1995 through to 1998. Winslow was the first New Zealander of Croatian descent to play rugby for Croatia. He first played for Croatia in 1995 (against Luxembourg) and his final test match was in 2004. Henderson, Auckland
Henderson ( mi, Ōpanuku) is a major suburb of West Auckland, in the North Island of New Zealand. It is west of Auckland city centre, and west of the Whau River, a southwestern arm of the Waitematā Harbour. The suburb is located within the Henderson-Massey Local Board of the Waitākere Ward, one of the thirteen administrative divisions of Auckland Council. Geography Henderson is located between the Waitākere Ranges to the west, and the Te Atatū Peninsula in the east. The area is within the catchment of Te Wai-o-Pareira / Henderson Creek, an estuarial arm of the upper Waitematā Harbour. The Croatia national rugby union team is governed by the Croatian Rugby Union. Croatia have been playing internationals rugby since 1992, they have yet to qualify for the Rugby World Cup. The national side is ranked 39th in the world (as of 18 July 2022) Internationals Croatia played their first international on 28 November 1992, away against Bosnia & Herzegovina, and won 47–3.
