Breheimen
Breheimen is a mountain range in the Innlandet and Vestland counties in Norway. The area lies west of the Jotunheimen mountain range. The mountain range lies to the northwest of the Sognefjellsvegen road, north of the Sognefjorden, south of the Nordfjorden and Norwegian National Road 15, and east of Norwegian National Road 5 and European route E39. The mountain range includes Jostedalsbreen National Park and Breheimen National Park. The name ''Breheimen'' means "home of the glaciers", since it has many glaciers, including Norway's largest glacier, Jostedalsbreen. Other glaciers in the range include Harbardsbreen and Spørteggbreen. Some of the major mountains in the area include Skåla, Lodalskåpa, Høgste Breakulen, Tverrådalskyrkja, Hestbrepiggene, and Brenibba. Breheimen National Park
Breheimen National Park ( no, Breheimen nasjonalpark) (Lit: Home of The Glaciers) is a national park that was established in 2009. The park is located in the municipalities of Skjåk and Lom in Innlandet county and in Luster in Vestland county, Norway. The park covers of the Breheimen mountain range. The park is surrounded by three other national parks: Jostedalsbreen National Park, Jotunheimen National Park, and Reinheimen National Park. Hestbrepiggene or Hestbreapiggan is a mountain ridge on the border of Skjåk Municipality and Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The ridge consists of seven peaks, with the highest one, ''Nørdre Hestbreapiggen'' reaching an elevation of . The mountain is located in the Breheimen mountains and inside the Breheimen National Park, about southwest of the village of Bismo. Tverrådalskyrkja
Tverrådalskyrkja is a mountain on the border of Skjåk Municipality in Innlandet county and Luster Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Breheimen mountains and inside the Breheimen National Park, just north of the large Harbardsbreen glacier. It is north of the village of Skjolden in Luster and southwest of Bismo in Skjåk. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Tundradalskyrkja to the east, Holåtindan to the southeast, Røykeskardhøi to the west, and Syrtbyttnosi to the northwest. Sognefjellsvegen
The Sognefjellsvegen or Sognefjellsveien is the highest mountain pass road in Northern Europe. Part of County Road 55, it is located in Innlandet and Vestland counties in Norway. It is a national tourist road and starts in the village of Lom in the municipality of Lom, it then travels over the Sognefjell mountain area, and it ends in the village of Gaupne in the municipality of Luster. The road was opened on 16 July 1938. The road passes through the Jotunheimen, Hurrungane, and Breheimen mountains. The highest point is Fantesteinen at . Luster is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located at the end of the Sognefjorden in the traditional district of Sogn. The administrative centre is the village of Gaupne. Austdalsvatnet is a lake in the northwestern part of Luster Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the Breheimen mountain range at the end of the Austdalsbreen glacier, just north of the lake Styggevatnet. It is about east of Lodalskåpa and Brenibba, in the Jostedalsbreen glacier. Lodalskåpa
Lodalskåpa is the highest nunatak on the Norwegian glacier Jostedalsbreen. It is located on the border between the municipalities of Stryn and Luster in Vestland county, Norway, within Jostedalsbreen National Park. The tall Lodalskåpa is located north of Brenibba and northeast of Høgste Breakulen mountain. The lakes Austdalsvatnet and Styggevatnet lie about to the east. The first ascent may have happened in 1820 by Gottfried Bohr. Jotunheimen
Jotunheimen (; "the home of the Jötunn") is a mountainous area of roughly in southern Norway and is part of the long range known as the Scandinavian Mountains. The 29 highest mountains in Norway are all located in the Jotunheimen mountains, including the tall mountain Galdhøpiggen (the highest point in Norway). The Jotunheimen mountains straddle the border between Innlandet and Vestland counties (historically part of the old Oppland and Sogn og Fjordane counties). Tourism Jotunheimen is very popular with hikers and climbers, and the Norwegian Mountain Touring Association maintains a number of mountain lodges in the area, as well as marked trails that run between the lodges and others that run up to some of the peaks.
