Break The Chain
"Break the Chain" is a song by Japanese rock band Tourbillon, and was the band's fifth and final single. It was released a year-and-a-half following the release of their second album ''A Tide of New Era'', and was used as the opening theme for the 2008 television series ''Kamen Rider Kiva''. Ryuichi Kawamura stated that the song was not just the "let's beat up the bad guys!" kind of Kamen Rider Series opening theme, but a song that both children and adults can enjoy. "Break the Chain" reached the number 3 position of the Oricon Weekly Charts on the week of its release, the highest ranked single the band ever released. As Tourbillion ceased activities following the release of "Break the Chain", the song was not included on any of their albums. One Billion Rising
One Billion Rising is a global campaign, founded by Eve Ensler, to end rape and sexual violence against women. It was started in 2012 as part of the V-Day movement. The "billion" refers to the UN statistic that one in three women will be raped or beaten in her lifetime, or about one billion. The campaign expands each year. In 2016, the theme of the campaign is Rise for Revolution. "This year's campaign will escalate the collective actions of activists worldwide, and amplify their call for systematic changes towards ending violence against women and children once and for all," said OBR global director Monique Wilson. Ryuichi Kawamura
is a Japanese singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and author. He is best known as lead singer of the rock band Luna Sea since 1989. He started a solo career in 1997, three years before Luna Sea disbanded in 2000. In 2005, Kawamura formed Tourbillon with fellow Luna Sea member Inoran and Hiroaki Hayama. He rejoined Luna Sea when they reunited in August 2010. Kawamura's first full-length album ''Love'' topped the Oricon chart with sales of around 1,021,000 copies, making him the only male solo artist to have an album sell over one million copies within its initial week in Oricon charts history. Tourbillon (band)
are a Japanese musical project formed in 2005 by Luna Sea members Ryuichi Kawamura (vocals) and Inoran (guitar), and D-Loop member Hiroaki "H. Hayama" Hayama (keyboards).
