Bravo (band)
Bravo (russian: link=no, Браво) is a rock and roll band founded in 1983 in Moscow, Russia by guitarist Evgeny Havtan. Biography Drawing heavy inspiration from 1950s western music, Bravo was a part of the Soviet rock and roll revival of the 1980s, along with Secret. Their first album was made in 1983. Despite the fact that at that time rock and roll and beat music (except for The Beatles) were less popular among Soviet citizens than classic rock, the band was one of the most popular underground acts in Russia in the 1980s, until the departure of original lead singer Zhanna Aguzarova ( :ru:Жанна Агузарова) in 1988. Since then Bravo has achieved success with several different singers, Valeriy Syutkin (1990-1994) and Robert Lenz (since 1996). In 2011, after a ten-year break from studio recordings, Bravo released an album ''Fashion'' (''russian: Мода''), which received highly positive reviews from critics and good attention from younger audiences. The ban ...

The Bravo (Titian)
''The Bravo'' is an oil painting usually attributed to Titian, dated to around 1516-17 and now in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. The painting can be seen as one of a number of Venetian paintings of the 1510s showing two or three half-length figures with heads close together, often with their expressions and interactions enigmatic. Most of these are "Giorgionesque" genre or tronie subjects where the subjects are anonymous, though the group includes Titian's '' The Tribute Money'', with Christ as the main figure, which in terms of style is similar to this painting, and his '' Lucretia and her Husband'', also in Vienna, where at least the woman's identity is clear, if not that of the man. Alternative attributions are to Giorgione (in the past) and Palma Vecchio. Description Against a dark background two male figures are shown, one in front of the other, with the rear one looking over his shoulder at a foreground figure who is tapping his shoulder, making him turn sharp ...

Bravo (Saudi Arabia)
Bravo is a digital radio trunking operator in Saudi Arabia. Bravo (editor)
Bravo was the first WYSIWYG document preparation program. It provided multi-font capability using the bitmap displays on the Xerox Alto personal computer. It was produced at Xerox PARC by Butler Lampson, Charles Simonyi and colleagues in 1974. Overview Bravo was a modal editor—characters typed on the keyboard were usually commands to Bravo, except when in "insert" or "append" mode, in which case they were entered into the character buffer. Bravo made extensive use of the mouse for marking locations in the text, as well as selecting areas of the text, but it was not used for command entry. (Being at the very dawn of graphical user interface design, a non- command driven interface was judged too ambitious and possibly even inefficient and cumbersome.) In addition to a long list of commands for controlling the formatting of the text (e.g. the ability to adjust left and right margins for sections of text, select fonts, etc.) Bravo also supported use of multiple buffers (i.e. fil ...
