Branko Babić
Branko "Sosa" Babić (; born 11 September 1950) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career During his playing career, Babić represented Osijek (Yugoslavia) and Beringen (Belgium) in the 1970s. He made five league appearances for the Belgian club in the 1975–76 season. Managerial career During his managerial career, Babić worked at numerous clubs in his homeland and abroad. He was manager of Mito HollyHock (2000), Čukarički ( 2003–04), OFK Beograd ( May 2004– October 2005), Čukarički ( 2006–07), Budućnost Podgorica ( November 2007– September 2008), Vojvodina ( October 2009–March 2010), Persis Solo (2011), OFK Beograd ( January–May 2012) and Vojvodina ( January–May 2014). Subsequently, Babić also served as caretaker manager of Gyeongnam FC ( August–December 2014). With Budućnost Podgorica, Babić won the 2007–08 Montenegrin First League. Zemun
Zemun ( sr-cyrl, Земун, ; hu, Zimony) is a municipality in the city of Belgrade. Zemun was a separate town that was absorbed into Belgrade in 1934. It lies on the right bank of the Danube river, upstream from downtown Belgrade. The development of New Belgrade in the late 20th century expanded the continuous urban area of Belgrade and merged it with Zemun. The town was conquered by the Kingdom of Hungary in the 12th century and in the 15th century it was given as a personal possession to the Serbian despot Đurađ Branković. After the Serbian Despotate fell to the Ottoman Empire in 1459, Zemun became an important military outpost. Its strategic location near the confluence of the Sava and the Danube placed it in the center of the continued border wars between the Habsburg and the Ottoman empires. The 2005–06 Serbia and Montenegro Superliga (officially known as the Meridian SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the fourth and last season of the Serbia and Montenegro's top-level football league before the dissolution. It was contested by 16 teams, and won the championship. Teams Radnički Jugopetrol, Čukarički Stankom and Hajduk Beograd were relegated to the 2005–06 Serbian First League while Sutjeska was relegated to the 2005–06 Montenegrin First League after the last season for finishing last. Serbian Cup
The Serbian Cup ( Serbian: Куп Србије, Kup Srbije) is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. From 2006 to 2010, the competition was known as the Lav Cup for sponsorship reasons. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. This cup tournament lasted for four seasons up until the dissolution of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro in 2006. The tournament was dominated by Serbian clubs with no Montenegrin sides reaching the final. Belgrade giants Red Star were easily the most successful club reaching the final all four years winning twice and losing in the final the other two seasons. The First League of Montenegro ( Montenegrin: ''Prva crnogorska fudbalska liga'' — ''Prva CFL'' — ''1. CFL''; ) is the top football league in Montenegro. Founded in 2006, competition is headed by the Football Association of Montenegro. 10 teams participate in this league. The 2013–14 Serbian Cup season is the eighth season of the Serbian national football tournament. The competition will start on 4 September 2013 and concludes with the Final on 7 May 2014. The winner of the competition will qualify for the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League. The 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the sixth season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. The defending champions are Partizan, after having won their fourth Serbian Superliga title in a row at the conclusion of the previous season. Partizan successfully defended their title after a 4–0 victory at Borac Čačak with three games left to play. It was their fifth consecutive Serbian title and their 24th domestic championship. Teams Inđija and Čukarički were relegated to the 2011–12 Serbian First League after the 2010–11 season for finishing in 15th and 16th place, respectively. The 2009–10 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the fourth season of the SuperLiga since its establishment in 2006. It began on 15 August 2009 and ended on 16 May 2010. A total of sixteen teams contest the league, with Partizan the defending champions.
